The demon was strong, that was what the two brothers could acknowledge. After having taking in the power of Sparda from the man, who had been swallowed whole and undoubtedly trapped inside the demon's body, Arkham's own power was engulfed to fill the demon's own.
The man's demonic energy was still present, yet it continues to dwindle as every second goes by. That strong leak of energy that flooded the area around them had diminished and begun to be pulled towards the dark demon as if there was a suction being used. Unlike the man who had taken long in adapting to the power, the now three eyed demon on the other hand had no such difficulty in harnessing the large demonic energy being a true demonic being itself.
"I'll say the same thing just as I said to Arkham. That power does not belong to the likes of you." Vergil pointed his weapon at the power demon who cackled consistently, finding the comment to be a mere joke and nothing else. This of course caused the slicked hair back of the two brothers to frown slightly and hummed before composing himself besides his younger brother. "Seems this foe won't be agitated so easily." As he notified Dante of so, the area which flooded with demonic energy was now fully absorbed to the demon. The constant rumble which occurred during the whole process halted immediately while the demon arched its body backwards parallel to the ground while still standing.
Dante raised a brow and looked towards his brother's side in confusion. Before he could attempt to utter a word as to what was happening, the demon had shot up and stood tall while releasing a loud screech which radiated a shockwave enough to push the two half-breeds to the ground on their backs from the force.
"More like it didn't care what you was saying for all I know." Dante grunted out as he got himself up with his weapon at the ready, Vergil following suit. The youngest of the brothers having already faced the demon previously knew the battle would drastically be different due to the major flow of power that was being felt as if it the abyss which had no ending in sights. "I'd be a smart-ass right now and say I know how to beat this demon, but..." As Dante waved his free hand furiously in gesture to the demon, Vergil understood what he was getting at.
"There's no point being vague right now. We've used too much power against Arkham. Be ready." Dante nodded his head to his older brother's seriousness to the situation and watched the demon began to slowly focus onto them. "It's finally ready to attack."
The demon raised one arm up towards the dark sky abyss while the two stances up and notice the slight reddish sparks that began to flicker around its hand before morphing and expanding in size. It appeared similar to a lightning bolt the demon was holding which it grabbed and struck the other side of the ground, causing a large gash on the watery ground.
"Well, ain't that nice." Dante chuckled with a slight sweat drop when noticing the lightning bolt morph once one and transform into a sword which Arkham had previously used as well as the main source of where Sparda had left the remaining amount of his energy.
"Heh. In your own words, Dante. This'll be a drag."

The pace Joshua went was neither quick nor slow as his steady breath let out a slight puff of warm smoke to leave to the chilly air. The temperature drastically changed upon entering the door and proceeding further in led his own body to try and warm himself. The sounds of battle continued to be heard from the distance but the boy took no measure in hurrying his pace.
He had accepted the fact that both Dante and Vergil having already reached far ahead and perhaps began to fight amongst each other if nothing else. But the matter of that man, Arkham if he remembered correctly gave out a sense of confidence in his own abilities leading the boy's thinking to believe that the two half-demons haven't fully finished the man. Regardless, he would not hurry himself and allow his magic to fully recharge enough. There was no point using the vital stars to heal his already scarred wounds that will be constantly there and felt even though he did use a partial amount to make it bearable. The usage of the purple liquid which was identical to the green fluid viral star presented the same disgusting taste and not truly a strong even when it did aid him in regaining some energy to his magic core.
