Scout training finally completed 3 years of training I'm gonna age up everyone to 18 because I can for future scenes in the book there going to be some stuff that requires them to be older

We are finally all done with it I take a look all around me seeing everyone so happy it was beautiful. I was at peace at the moment everyone was so happy.

Somehow I was ranked 4th place along with Annie we both tied. I found that a bit funny, to be honest. She seemed happy when she saw we were twinning. Sam and Oliver didn't put any effort they couldn't care less about this whole thing They were just here for me.

It was enjoying everyone cheering till Eren caught my attention. I was watching everyone from on top of the stairs.

"The scouts have always been my goal. I dont want the easy life not with all the work I've put in. I trained to fight titans". Eren said then someone shouted.

"ARE YOU INSANE"!? He yelled out loud catching everyone's attention. Gee, why not say that any louder? The whole room grew quiet.

"How many people have died? We are talking a fifth of the population...if that doesn't paint you a picture for you. I don't know what will? This is our life now. We can't beat them". The room grew ominous I looked down to see everyone's expression some were terrified some I couldn't read.

"Yeah? So what? Do we buckle? Take it all lying down? Things have changed. Maybe not a helluva a lot but enough. There aren't the mystery they were five years ago. There is still a long way to but webe made progress. Every battle we lost taught us a lesson. Gave us the tiniest inroad towards something like hope. Are you telling me it's better to cut our losses? Let all the death and destruction be meaningless? Just to ball it up and accept? No on your life! Humanity's future is lies outside the wall and I'm gonna clear the way. I'm gonna take back what was ours. I'll drive them out and as long as at least one of us can say that we're not done"! Eren perched and clenched his fist and soon began to tear up. He soon ran out the door with Armin and Mikasa following right behind him.

"Eren what"! Armin shouted after him. I didn't follow after this is their time it is their conversation I'll talk to Eren afterward. I soon heard footsteps behind me I looked and it was Oliver.

"Sup y/n I knew I would find you up here you would always watch people even before this". Oliver said and sat next to me.

I nodded back at him because I knew in a couple of days this laughter all this cheer and joy would be stomped out. I felt myself tear up and felt sick at the thought of tomorrow.. tomorrow is the day they come back. I looked at Reiner and Bert my eyes winced just looking at them.

"I have to go". I said with my voice cracking I got up and rushed down the stairs and headed straight for the door. Rushed out not looking back I started to breathe heavily. I couldn't breathe then I saw someone approaching me they leaned down to my level. Their voice was muffled.

"Y/n"! They said I could see the outline of their face it was Sam he cupped my face.

"Breathe take deep breaths". Everything was so muffled and blurry but I could make out that I soon tried to control my breathing and shut my eyes tight for a moment.

"Are you okay"? Sam asked but I couldn't face him I couldn't face any of them.

"No, I don't think I have been okay in a while..". I said he looked at me confused and sat down next to me and wrapped his arms around me.
