Chapter 2
I didn't throw my name un in the air like you did Madeleine.
Espresso's pov

     'I can't wait to go home..' I thought to myself. I was already mentally drained and I couldn't have an interruption about someone complaining about something. I was already headed to my car while I saw someone. Someone very familiar. God damn it! It was Madeleine! Well, now I couldn't stop now because I really wanted to head back home.

     Madeleine was seen with a couple of friends. I mean friends like Almond and other tall guys. 'What a douchebag.' I rolled my eyes and walked to my car. "Yo! It's the guy who we dared you to ask out with. You guys dating or nah?" One of his friends ask. "He's a total asshole. Like I mean like, a super RUDE asshole!" Madeleine yelled that part to get my attention. "Say again, it seems like I didn't catch your name sweetheart." Madeleine asks me. "Well," I turned my head to him, "it seems like I didn't throw my name up in the air. And don't call me sweetheart, that's gross." I told him. Madeleine snorts at my funny comment. He walks up closer to me. "Well, you should've thrown it up in the air so I would catch it." All the guys goes 'oooooo.' Like that was special in anyway. "I didn't throw my name in the air like you did Madeleine." I gave him a disgusted look.

     Madeleine just stood there. In disbelief. "How.. how do you know my name?" Madeleine asks. "When your friends with the bride when you were kids, she literally has your back. And you can tell her your secrets and she can do the same. Isn't that right Almond? Unless she doesn't." I basically had to tell him the truth. "That damn Latte." Madeleine whispered. "Now, I'm going back home. Because I'm tired as shit! Now don't have a good night!" I hop into the car and start driving. It takes about 30 minutes for me to arrive home. "Ughhhh! Why does that dickhead have to be so annoying!" I basically screamed at myself.

I hopped into the shower and I was still mad about that idiot! After I showered I got changed into my pajamas. I laid on my bed and decided to facetime Latte. Ring.... Ring.... Ring.... It took a while until she answered the damn face time call. "Yo, yo yo! What's up my brother?" Latte asked. "You know Madeleine?" I asked and Latte nodded her head, "I ran into Almond's friends and Madeleine was there, and he goes, 'SoRrY iT sEeMs LiKe I dIdN't CaTcH yOuR nAmE sWeEtHeArT.' And who the fuck calls a person sweetheart when they didn't meet them!" I told her angrily. "Sheesh, it does seem like you hate Madeleine. I mean, who would go up to someone calling them sweetheart when they barely know them?" Latte was confused by the thought of Madeleine calling me sweetheart. "I mean dude, you asked me if I was single or not and I said no doesn't get to make you call me sweetheart." I grumbled.

We chatted back and forth about the situation. "Anyways, it's literally 4 in the morning right now Espresso. I think I'm heading towards the counting sheep." Latte made a joke. "Yeah, yeah.. Get your sleep." I rubbed my left eye. We ended the call a little bit later on and I went to turn off all the lights. Now I'm sitting in complete darkness. I sat there a little while until I decided to lay down and go on my phone. 'There's literally nothing that is interesting.' I thought to myself. 'Wait, let's go to Instagram. Go to Latte's profile. Then Almond's profile. Then... to friends. And ta-da! Madeleine's profile. Too easy.' I basically searched through his Instagram, stalking him. 'He's good looking in suits.. What no! He's your rival. Enemy.' I had to snap myself out of it. I continued on scrolling on his Instagram and there was a lot more than I originally planned on. "Damn, how many photos does he post?" I mumbled to myself. 'He has a dog? Well, you know what they say, dogs look like their owners. And Madeleine has a golden retriever.' I continued on looking at his dog. 'Wondering what's the dog name is...' I kept thinking to myself. 'Betsy? Molly? Nah, those are the worst dog names ever. Who knows, maybe it's a male dog.' I kept on thinking but realized the time was 5:21AM. 'I should heading to sleep right now.' I put my phone on the charger and went to sleep.

     Only to have a dream about Madeleine. 😏
