Draco's POV:
After the war all seventh year students were given the chance to return back to Hogwarts to finish our studies in an optional 8th year. I went back along with pansy, Blaise, Daphne, Astoria, Millicent, Theo, and some other Slytherins.

Of course other houses came back too but the only people I really remember seeing are lovegood, granger, Weasley, Finnegan, Thomas, long bottom, Chang, girl Weasley, and him.

The most insufferable of them all. The leader of the idiots, the gryffindor golden boy, the savior, Harry, fucking, Potter.

Though to say he looks different would be an understatement, he lost a significant amount of weight, almost concerning (not that I care) and he is more built, lean even.

He hair as dark as ever and his eyes the Avada green. He looks like death, something so dangerous yet so unintentionally beautiful. He is good looking, only a fool would say otherwise. But that doesn't change the fact that he is a prat and is so incredibly dim witted it hurts.

He strutted across the great hall to meet up with the rest of the Gryffindorks and waited for the sorting ceremony to begin. I turned to Pansy and began to listen in to the conversation she was having with Blaise.

"I heard that we will be getting our own dorms, the 8th years that is, I just hope i don't get bunked with someone in Gryffindor. How terrible would that be!"

Pansy said to Blaise as he listened intently. "Merlin I swear if I get put with a Gryffindor I'm going to lose my shit and kill somebody!"
Blaise responds as Pansy chuckles.

The conversations in the crowd died out as professor-now headmistress- Mcgonagal started the new year speech.

"Welcome and welcome back to a new year and Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry, I hope for a great year and would like to say a few words before the sorting-"

The headmistress began as I couldn't help but remember albus's word from my first year at hoggwarts "NitWit! Blubber! Oddment!" Ah such great words of guidance. Not crazy at all surely!"

"I would like to say that the forbidden forest is off limits to any and all students unless serving a detention, and that most of all, this school year I would like to remind you that all houses are equal no matter how "evil" you've heard they are. Don't let a silly stereotype get in the way of your true house."

At the last sentence I was able to see potter put his head down and look away slightly embarrassed, strange I wonder why?

"And lastly, if I hear there is any fights or prejudice to Slytherin or any house for that matter for what there parents or there role was in the war I will not hesitate to take away house point or even suspend any student! With that being said let us have a great year and let the sorting began!"

After the sorting Slytherin gained about 25 new first years and I decided that I would adopt them. It would be nice to have a sidekick to take under my wing and to become the new less asshole version of me.

Every one left except the 8th years who where made to stay seated for a special announcement. "Now as 8th years I expect you all to set an example and be kind to each other. You will be able to wear what you want on Wednesdays and Fridays, and are allowed to sit at any table.-"

The headmistress said as she held her hands in a neat composers in front of herself.

"Lastly you will all be assigned a two person dorm, no I don't want any complaints or disrespect towards me or your dorm mate. Let me read the list of names-"
