JIHEE'S POV

We've been driving around for nearly an hour, still talking about all the places we've traveled to and our experiences there. "So, out of these places we've just spoken about, which one is your favorite?" he asked.

I thought for a moment. "I don't know, my favorite place is a place I have yet to visit," I answered.

"Which is?"

"Italy."

"Why Italy?" he asked, the car slowly coming to a halt at a cliffside viewpoint.

"It looks very beautiful. It seems like a place you can enjoy with a partner. I'd love to go with someone someday. Or I'd go alone, whatever the world brings," I shrugged, smiling at the view in awe. It looks beautiful. You can see hills, greenery everywhere, a few small cottages around. It looks very homely.

"Or you could go for your honeymoon."

"People in royalty get a honeymoon that lasts at most a week. I'd rather not have a sad honeymoon like that and just stay in a palace," I glanced at him.

"How long would you prefer your honeymoon to last?" He turned in his seat, his body facing mine.

"I'd prefer my honeymoon to last at least two weeks but the honeymoon phase for a lifetime," I chuckled.

He eyed me for a minute, "And you do realize how unrealistic that is?"

"Yes," I turned to him. "I realize that. But dreaming isn't a crime."

He shrugged, "It certainly isn't."

I narrowed my eyes at him, "I have a very critical question to ask you."

He looked at me with amusement, "Ask away."

"What are your views on royalty?"

He sighed, slowly nodding in thought. "I believe life in Italy would be better," he smirked. I chuckled, still waiting for him to answer. "It sucks," he shrugged blatantly. "It's too complicated, we've got too many expectations to meet, it's exhausting. But it's my duty and I must do what's best for the people of my kingdom."

I couldn't help but smile in appreciation of his answer. He doesn't like it, but he does it because he knows it's the right thing to do and I admire that. People in royalty lack that point of view.

"And I suppose the fuck you's you write to royalty make your views pretty clear."

I laughed, nodding. "I suppose they do."

I stepped out of his car in front of my palace, taking the hand he offered to help me out. "Thank you for the day. I enjoyed your company," I said.

"And yours," he smiled, bowing his head. I chuckled, bidding him goodbye before heading inside.

"Princess Jihee," Mrs Ju said. "Your parents requested you meet them in the dining hall for dinner right upon your arrival."

I nodded, heading to the dining hall where we ate dinner. It's a huge hall but only three of us dine here on a daily basis. Other than that, we host parties and ceremonies, of course. I let out a sigh while sitting in one of the chairs.

"How was your day with the Prince of Seoul?" my mother asked immediately.

"It was good," I nodded. "He is great company."

"You'll wed him then?" she questioned.

I hesitated while pouring myself a glass of water. "No."

My father looked up at me, "Why not?"
