A few days had passed since the 'big test day,' as Sophie had called it. It was time for her to decide who she would date. (She had to decide there, otherwise she would remain unmatchable.

When she woke up, there was a dress set out for her, along with flats.

The dress was long and red, and the flats were golden with little diamonds on the side. She took as long as possible putting on her outfit. The dress was much more complicated than it looked. It had rubies bordering the neckline and diamonds along the waist. She shuddered at how fancy and uncomfortable it was.

After double checking (and redouble checking) that she was ready, she left her room, and made her way to the commons.

Keefe and Fitz were already there (perfect as ever.)

After a few awkward minutes of small talk, Aralia walked in wearing and Aquamarine gown, that had amethyst, aquamarine, and Sapphire emblazoned on it.

"Miss Foster, I'm sure you are well aware that you had a few days to think this over, but, who are you choosing to be with?" "Keefe." Sophie looked surprised at herself. She hadn't expected to say anything like that so boldly, but it came easily, and she felt a weight rise from her shoulders.

She looked up and met his gaze. His face was lit up, like a sunrise, or when she turned on her iPod. She couldn't help smiling before sneaking a glance at Fitz. He looked surprised, but fine with it.

Once they were all able to go home, Keefe slipped her a note.

Once she was completely ready for bed, she opened it. She was surprised when an ice blue heart with Keefe's name fell out of it. The note read: If  you'll go to the dance with me, I've really been meaning to ask you. Just know that you can reach out to me whenever.

Hey Keefe...
