I would like to say something before we start... I would like to say that Aera is actually yn. I actually name the main lead of this story... Some readers were confused so I would like to clear it up.

AUTHOR'S POV

The bell rang to indicate that the school was over. Jungwon finished his last class and went out his class which his bag in one shoulder. He went to his locket and took out his helmet. After closing his locker he looked around. Aera's locker was just 4 locker besides his. He looked around to see if she was coming. He saw her coming to her locker. Unconsciously a smile spread through his lips. He saw her taking some medicines which made him confused. He had noticed it a few times before but he never asked her despite his curiosity. He didn't want her to think that he's too nosy or something. He walked towards her.

Jungwon : hello Aera!
He said which his usual smile.

Aera noticed jungwon and immediately kept the medicine inside bag and closed her locker.
Her actions made him more confused and curious.

Jungwon : Aera... What is that?
He asked curiously.
Aera : painkillers....
She answered bluntly.
Jungwon was even more confused now.

Jungwon : why you taking painkillers?
Aera sighed before replying.
Aera : you need to know everything?
That question caught jungwon off guard.

"Am I being too nosy now?" He thought.

Jungwon : you know what? I don't want to know but I do want to know if you're okay....
Aera : I'm fine.
Jungwon : you still not coming for my race tomorrow?
Aera : you already know the answer jungwon.

Jungwon just nodded.
Aera started walking away.

Jungwon : I'm never giving up on you!!
He shouted so she can hear him.

Aera couldn't help but smile at his words.

As jungwon saw she's not stopping he decided to run towards her and block her path. Aera faced him a done look while Jungwon smiled cheekily.

Jungwon : you still not coming? You sure?
Jungwon looked at her like a cute kitten.
Aera looked at jungwon before giving him an answer.
Aera : no.
Jungwon : but why not?
Aera : I have work.
Jungwon frowned.
Jungwon : what work?
Aera : you don't need to know that.
Jungwon : but still the race is in the evening just come on. I just want you to watch my race.
Aera sighed.

Aera : well don't you have friends tell them to watch. I'm not coming.
Jungwon's expression saddened.
Jungwon : even if I tell my friends they wouldn't come so please please come for my race. I'll do anything for you to watch my race.
Jungwon pleaded.
Aera gave jungwon a soft look.
Aera : you'll never give up... Will you?
Jungwon : no. I won't!
Jungwon said.

Aera nodded.
Aera : well then... I'll come for your race.
Jungwon : wait seriously?!
Aera : yea.
Jungwon started jumping around in happiness. He suddenly hugged Aera.
Jungwon : thank you thank you thank you so much!!!
Aera was taken back by his happiness and his hug.
Aera : uh... J...jungwon...
She called him out softly while tapping his shoulder lightly.
When Aera did that Jungwon realised what he was doing and a red tint spread on his cheeks.
He immediately broke the hug and looked away clearing his throat.
Jungwon : uh... I... I'm sorry... I..I didn't mean to. I was just to... H... happy..
Jungwon gave her nervous and awkward smile.
Aera couldn't hide her smile at his cuteness but she kept her straight face again.
Aera : well then... I'm going. See you tomorrow wonnie.
She said not realising.
Jungwon immediately heard what she called him.
Jungwon smiled.
Jungwon : wonnie? Is that my nickname?
Aera blushed when she realised he heard her.
Aera : uh well... Whatever.... I'm going. Bye.
She started walking away from there as she didn't want him to see her blushing.
Jungwon chuckled but he suddenly stopped her.
Jungwon : wait!!
Aera stopped and turned around.
Jungwon smiled.
Jungwon : you know since you're coming it's a date... Just for your information.
Aera looked away blushing.
Aera : date? Really jungwon?
She said in a done tone.
Jungwon : I'm not wasting my chance I got with you.
He said effortlessly.

Aera looked down at the floor smiling.
Aera : whatever. Bye jungwon
She ran away from there before he would say something else that could make her blush.
Jungwon chuckled. He replayed the whole conversation that happened now in his head and the nickname she called him was stuck in his head.
Jungwon : wow.... Wonnie.... Hmm... Wonnie....
He kept repeating that name while chuckling.

Nobody had ever called him by such a cute name and he felt so happy that his crush was calling him by a very cute nickname. He was getting butterflies thinking about her cute, soft and soothing voice calling him wonnie. He smiled as he walked away.

That night, Jungwon was trying to sleep but he couldn't. He shifted left and right on his bed again and again trying to sleep but his mind was filled with the thoughts of Aera coming to watch his race tomorrow. He wanted to show off his skills to her. Jungwon was staring the hell out the ceiling while smiling like some idiot. He wanted to sleep. He closed his eyes trying to sleep but his excitement got the best of him. All his could think of was his date tomorrow. He couldn't believe Aera was finally giving him a change.

Jungwon sighed.
Jungwon : I should sleep... I don't wanna be tired tomorrow. I should look fresh for Aera. I should sleep.... Just sleep jungwon!
He told to himself.
Eventually he fell asleep while thinking about tomorrow.
