FEELINGS

JUNGWON'S POV

The irritating noise of the alarm woke me up. Switching off the alarm I looked around my room clueless before I remembered the day.

Jungwon : omg! Today is the day!!

I jumped out of my bed and rushed to get ready for my big day.

I still can't believe Aera is coming to watch my race. I want to show off my skills infront of her and make her fall for me too. This was the only thing I wanted.

AUTHOR'S POV

Jungwon went outside locking his apartment door. He was so energetic and happy like a five year old. He was so happy that his dreams were coming true or atleast that's what he thought but knowing Aera was going to watch him race was making his heart flutter in happiness. He get on his motorbike before driving away.

AERA'S POV

I sighed... I was trying to find a dress to wear. I only had 1 hour left before his race starts. I don't even know why I am trying so hard to look presentable infront of jungwon. Why do I need to think about what he will think about me? Do I love him? No... I don't. I can't be with him.

Aera : hmm? This one or this one?

I asked to myself holding a red dress and a purple dress.

Aera : or this one?
I looked at the black dress.

Jungwon might be wearing black right? He's a racer so of course he will be wearing black... He always wears black...

I stared intently at the black dress before picking it up and going to the washroom to change.
After changing I looked myself in the mirror and yes! This black dress is great! It's perfect match!
I started doing some light makeup and decided to just let my hair loose and untied. I checked the time to realise that I only had half an hour left before the race. I realised if I don't go now I'll be late.

I took my bag and went out.

Aera : mom! I'm going out!
She yelled to her mom, who was in the kitchen.
Her mom came out.
Mom : where are you going?
She looked worried.
Aera : I'm just going out. Don't worry mom. I'll be okay.
Mom : please take care. Call me if anything happens.
I nodded and smiled.
Aera : see you later.

I went out of the house and started walking to the location of the race. It wasn't that far from my house so I will just walk.

AUTHOR'S POV

Aera walked to the place where the race was taking place. Meanwhile, Jungwon was getting ready for his race. He was so excited and happy for today's race. Even other racers were confused to see him this excited for a race. Only if they knew the reason....

The race was about to begin and all the racers were at the starting point. He looked around the audience for Aera but he couldn't spot her. He checked again and again trying to spot her but he wasn't able to.

"Didn't she came yet?" He thought.

He was getting a little nervous now.

Aera checked the time on her watch and realised she was late. She walked faster to the stadium. When she entered she saw multiple racers speeding along the tracks and audience cheering for their favourite racer. She couldn't figure out who was Jungwon because of the helmet but soon she recognised him because of the names written behind their jackets.

Jungwon was speeding along the tracks and it looked like he could go and hit somewhere and it made Aera worried. She has never been to a race so she didn't know much but she believed Jungwon will be alright.

Soon enough jungwon spotted Aera in the crowd. After seeing her face he felt as if he was being charged. He started driving faster determined to win this race no matter what.

It was the last round and the first one in the track was Jungwon. The crowds were cheering him more and more and at last he won. He reached the finishing line first. After getting to the finishing line he tried to balance himself but couldn't and fell down.
The crowd came to him to check if he was alright and to cheer him for his win.

The only thing Jungwon was concerned about was Aera. He looked around for her and saw her standing near by the entrance looking at him with a soft smile but still a worried look. A large grin spread on his face as he realised she was actually worried about him.

After the race, the racers were sent to change their clothes before the judges give the prices. Jungwon went to the changing room. Aera took this opportunity to go and talk to Jungwon.

She went to the changing room and after some help from other racers she reached infront of Jungwon's changing room. She was about to open the door but stopped when she heard something.

AERA'S POV

I was standing infront of Jungwon's changing room and was about to knock when I heard something. I heard someone talking. I trying to figure out what it was but couldn't make it out but I was sure I heard a girl's voice from inside.

His door was a bit open so o decided to peek through it. I knew I shouldn't do this but my curiosity got the best of me. When I peek through the half open door I regretted it immediately. I saw Jungwon with a pretty girl. She was talking to Jungwon and was even holding his arm. And he didn't even tried to move away or pull his arm out of her grip. He was also talking to her.

I didn't know why but I felt a bit jealous seeing that girl being so clingy with Jungwon. I kept watching them.
The girl was so clingy with him. I was taken back when she wrapped her hands around his neck and he didn't even tried to push her off?!!! What is he doing?!!!

I felt pretty hurt seeing this. The girl was so close to him and he didn't even tried to push her off or move away. It seemed as if he enjoyed it.

I couldn't bare watch that girl and jungwon so I walked away from there. I sighed "did he really tried to play with me?" I thought. I never thought I would think of jungwon like this but now I did.

I went home after that. I didn't even stayed to watch him get his medal or even talk to him after that. I just walked home feeling my heart break.

"Why am I feeling hurt? It isn't like I like him or something. I don't like him." I thought trying to convince myself that I never liked jungwon and he was the once who was trying to make me fall in his trap.

Oh no... Was Jungwon really playing with Aera's feelings? Or was it all just a misunderstanding?
Well the answer will be revealed in the next chapter hopefully.
