AUTHOR'S POV

Aera was laying on her bed thinking about what happened. Who was that girl? Why was she so close to him? Are they dating? Does he just try play with me? All these questions were circling around her head in a loop.

She sighed trying to get all these thoughts out of her mind.
Aera : why do i even care?
She told to herself. Convincing herself that nothing really happened.

Meanwhile Jungwon was still at the stadium with everyone praising him and congratulating him for his win. He looked around the crowd for Aera but he couldn't find her.

"She was here during the race. I saw her..." He thought.

Even though he was smiling at the people who were praising him inside he was sad as Aera wasn't seen anywhere.

Jungwon's friend noticed him looking around the stadium constantly and decided to ask what's wrong.

Jay : hey what's wrong? You've been looking around for something?
He asked as he nudged Jungwon elbow.
Jungwon : yea... My friend... She was here but now I can't find her....
He said while looking around.
Jay : oh... Well... I guess you should pay attention to the people now.... You'll see her again anyways right?
Jungwon nodded to Jay's statement and diverted his attention back to the audience who were praising him.

Even though he was sad inside he masked his sadness with his cheerful smile as always.

TIME SKIP
(NEXT DAY)
LOCATION : SCHOOL

It was Monday again. The day that all students hate and the first working day of a new week.
As usual Jungwon was sighted at the entrance of the school with all the his and some boys greeting him and he was greeting them back to.
He was waiting for that one person who he has been waiting for his whole life.

He stood at there waiting for her to show up.

After a few minutes he saw her coming to the entrance. He fixed his hair and smiled seeing her. He was ready to greet her. She reached towards the door and Jungwon was ready to greet her. He smiled as wide as he can.

Jungwon : Good mor-
Before he could finish his sentence, Aera walked past him, completely ignoring him.

Jungwon was confused by her action.
He saw that she just walked away, completely ignoring him.
"What happened to her?" He thought.
He walked behind her thinking that she didn't really notice him.

Jungwon : hey! Aera! Good morning!
He said with a cheerful smiling while walking behind her but soon enought the smiled disappeared as Aera again ignored him.

He was very sad and confused now as he didn't know why his crush was acting this way. It was clear that something happened yesterday at the race that made Aera upset with him and he needed to know what he did wrong and wanted to make her talk with him again.

He again and again tired to get Aera's attention but she just ignored him.

"What's wrong? Did something happened? Why is she acting this way? Did I do something to upset her?" He thought but still he couldn't figure out what he did wrong.
He watched as Aera went to her class, disappearing from his sight. He sighed.

Jungwon : I didn't completely lose my chance with her....did I?
He asked himself.
He felt really sad and upset that Aera was ignoring him. All he ever wanted was her but why was it so hard?
He went to his class.

The whole day Jungwon tried to get Aera's attention but all he got was her ignorance. He didn't know why she acted this way and he wanted to find the problem and find a solution to it. He wanted her again. The more she ignored him the more he fell for her.

AERA'S POV

What the hell am I doing? Why am I ignoring him? Well...why should I talk with him? He has someone already and now he's trying to get me? Wait...what if I'm misunderstanding everything? It looks like he really wants my attention.... I want his attention too... Why am I overthinking? Am I overthinking?

She sighed.

I should calm down... Maybe I should talk to him...? Or not... I don't know... It hurts seeing him sad but no I'm not going to talk to him... How can I trust him? What if my thoughts were real?

AUTHOR'S POV

Both Aera and Jungwon was thinking about each other but still they find it difficult to talk. While jungwon was trying to get her attention all she was doing is thinking about yesterday.

TIME SKIP

The final bell rang and students walked out of the classes to go home. Aera was walking towards the gate when suddenly a hand gripped hers. She turned back to see Jungwon.

He wasn't letting her go now...not until she tells him what's wrong.

Jungwon decided to just be straightforward with her now as he didn't wanted to waste the time and lose a chance with her again.

Jungwon : what did I do wrong? Why are you ignoring me?
He asked. His voice filled with sadness.
Aera could see the sadness in his eyes which hurted her too.
Aera : it's nothing...
Jungwon wasn't going to buy that answer.
Jungwon : just tell me. I want to solve any problem that is between us.
He said somewhat sternly now.
Aera sighed as she sensed that he wasn't letting her go until she open upto him.
Aera : who was the girl?
She asked.

Jungwon was confused by her confused.
"A girl?" He thought.
Jungwon : what girl? Which girl?
Aera : the girl that was with you yesterday after the race.
Jungwon was confused at first but then he realised.
Aera started talking again.
Aera : she seems so close with you. Is she your girlfriend? If you had a girlfriend why are you behind me?
Jungwon smiled.
Jungwon : why are you jealous?
He asked. His mood lightened up a bit.
Aera : why would I be jealous?
She looked away.
Jungwon knew that she was but he decided not to push it.
Jungwon : that girl is not my girlfriend or anything.
He said.
Aera looked back at him.
Aera : the who is she?
Jungwon : that's my sister.

Aera eyes widened in realisation and her cheeks flushed in embarrassment.
Jungwon smiled seeing her reaction.
He decided to tease her
Jungwon : oh my dear, you're blushing my dear
Aera looked away but Jungwon put his hand on her chin making her look back at him.
Jungwon : you look cute... don't hide your face from me.
He smiled.
Aera looked at him. Her blushing increased by his words.
It was obvious he had an effect on her which made Jungwon happy.

Jungwon : so... Are we good now?
He asked with hope.
Aera nodded.
Jungwon : if we're good... Then will you go out on a date with me?
Aera was left speechless now.
Jungwon saw this which made him a bit worried that he was going to get rejected again but still he had faith.
Jungwon : please answer me...
He pleaded.

Aera sighed.
Aera : Jungwon you already know...
Jungwon : but I also do know that you love me so what's stopping you from dating me?
He spoke with a bit of annoyance in his tone.
Aera noticed his tone.
Aera : you know... I have a reason to not date you...
Jungwon looked at her.
Jungwon : what reason?
Aera looked at him hesitating to answer him.
She took a deep breath.
Aera : I....
