Love Is Worth Waiting For

Chapter 6

Matt's pov.

I was just sitting in my office with my mates as I streamed. I was pretending they weren't there as they threw my frog teddies at me. The stream lasted an hour. But I eventually ended it so I could chat with the guys. I look around the room. El was sitting on her own while the others were chatting. I was about to go over when Jaren got up and started talking to her. That kind of annoyed me. I just ignored them and started talking to the others.

Later.

I get up and make my way outside. I see Jaren and El hugging. That also annoyed me. I didn't want El to know that. So I just smiled and said, "Ooh better leave them alone,". "STFU," El said. "Pfft get told," Jaren says laughing. "You too," El said. I didn't want to bother them so I just laughed as I walked off.

Later.

I was just sitting in my office with the guys when Max came back with some pizza. "I'll let Jaren and El know," I say as I get up and leave the room. "Smii7y. El. The food is here" I say as I walk outside. "I'm tired" El whispers. "Smii7y take El to the spare room she normally stays in there," I say. "Okay," Jaren says. I walk back inside to my office and eat with the others.

Later.

Everyone had left and I was now sitting in my room. El and Jaren were upstairs. Doing fuck knows what. But whatever it was I couldn't help but feel annoyed. I don't know why though. I decided to go check on them. I make my way upstairs and into El's room. "Jaren are you... Oh, am I interrupting something?" I ask. "No, it's okay. You good?" Jaren asks. "Yeah I was just going to ask if you were going yet but I don't think El will let you" I say laughing. "Let him stay," El say quietly. "It's up to him not me," I say. "That's fine with me it's getting late anyway," Jaren says. "Okay, I'll leave you guys to it," I say before leaving the room and closing the door behind me. I felt a bit annoyed that they were so close. But I wasn't sure why.

Later.

I was just sitting on the sofa when I heard Jaren say "Hey I have to go my dog has been sick. I'll say soon, mate". "Yeah cya Jaren" I say. I hear the door open and then close. I sigh. I should get some sleep.

The next day.

I was just making some pancakes for El when Max entered my house. "Hey Matt I brought El some clothes" he says. "Okay, cheers. I'll take them up now" I say as I plate up the food. I grab the bag and the plate of food before making my way upstairs to El's room. I knock on the door. "Come in," El say. "Hey, El I cooked you some food," I say as I place it on the table. "Thank you," El said. "Oh, Max brought you some spare clothes" I say placing a bag on the floor. "Oh good. Let him know I'll be down soon" El said. "Okay," I say before leaving the room and closing the door behind me. I then make my way back downstairs. "Shell be down soon," I say. "Okay," Max says.

Later.

I was just waiting outside with Max well El comes out. "Wait why are you wearing Smii7y's hoodie?" Max asks. The fact she was still wearing it annoyed me for some reason. "It's a long story I'll tell you on the way home," El say. "I'll see you both later," I say. "Yeah cya," Max and El say at the same time. I watch as they get into the car and drive off. Why was I annoyed?

Weeks later.

I had been avoiding El's texts and the DC calls. I was too annoyed to speak to her so I told the guys to say to her I was busy all the time. But I was starting to feel bad. I guess I'll have to talk to her eventually. But for now, I should get some sleep.
