3rd Person POV
A taxi conveniently drove by them which made Ji Ah rush to stop the car. The driver stopped the car and rolled his window down to talk with his potential customer.
"Where do you need to go?" the driver asked.
"Along the route of Bus No. 1002." Informed Ji Ah.
The driver nodded his head agreeing to go that way. Ji Ah sighed in relief and turned around to look at Minji and the old man but to her shock, the old man was nowhere to be seen.
"Where did that grandpa go?" Ji Ah asked Minji.
Confused Minji turned her head around and for sure there was no old man. "But he was right here just a second ago." Minji made it clear.
Looking around for a second they went towards the taxi and entered the back seat.
In a few minutes, they saw the bus in the distance, they did not understand why they stopped in the middle of the road but once the car got near they understood the reason why.
Ji Ah and Minji rushed out of the car while the taxi driver quickly grabbed his phone to dial the emergency number.
Minji and Ji Ah were staring at the bloodied windows, their faces filled with terror. Ji Ah gasped in shock, while Minji felt her breath catch in her throat.
"Yeou Gogae." Ji Ah breathed out and turned her head to look at the road and let out a gasp.
"Route 144, Yeou Gogae"
"My mom and dad disappeared."
"I want my mom and dad!"
"Ji Ah! Snap out of it." Minji said, shaking Ji Ah out of her flashbacks.
"Minji...I- we can't let this happen again....no." Ji Ah said in a dazed voice and ran to the other side of the bus that had the door.
"Ji Ah, wait! Ji Ah!" Minji yelled and rushed after her.
"She is not being rational, for all we know this isn't an accident but a well-thought-out murder plan." Minji thought.
