-Zoran Martinović (Katarina's father):
"During identification, I saw the scariest scene of my life.
I was hugging my child, blood coming out of her mouth, with over 15 gunshot wounds.
I cannot accept that someone child who does this isn't responsible for it.
One human being massacred, not one, but ten. "

-Zoran Martinović (Katarina's father):
"From the school that continued to work as if nothing had happened, to reporting on May 3 and it's consequences.

We spent all out time with Katarina in this sense to teach her that she should live in a better world.
She went to two schools.
Ribnikar was a topic for us when it came to injustice, because some childrens parents improved their grades and performed emergencies. "

-Zoran Martinović (Katarina's father):
"Vladimir Kecmanović lived in a house without 2,500 bullets, and it was logical that someone would on day take those bullets.
Kosta K. should have gone to Gaza or somewhere where unfortunately, there is war and not to play war games at school.

Many people are suffering for my daughter, even that a saleswoman in a nearby store hugged me, with empathy.
I go to a cafe that makes Kata's favorite hot chocolate. Kata mentioned Kosta once, saying that there was a boy at school who had more absences, even more than her, and hers were due to obligations at ballet school.

Since May 3, there has been a deafening silence in our house, because no more sounds of the piano are heard and there is no more discussions on all the topics we had with Kat.
We have nothing more to hope for. "

Some mornings, Katarina's mother does not get to see Katarina before leaving for school, but she remembers that they would always hug each other in the evening.

-Miljana Martinović (Katarina's mother):
"I don't wanna use the verb that she suffered because those children and their guardians were massacred.
I can't believe that nine beautiful children will not realize their dreams and that none of us will be grandparents to their children. "

While looking for Katarina and waiting in front of the school for hours for her to appear or to hear which hospital her child was, she constantly asked in despair
"Where is my child?!"
"Where is my Kata?!"

-Miljana Martinović (Katarina's mother):
Like other parents, I consoled myself that she's just locked somewhere in the school and that she would show up.
My phone was on the charger bar across the street from the school and I went in to get it at 12:34 and saw that at 12:12 I had a missed call. I called that number again. It was the police, they told us to come. I didn't want to go, I can't explain to you the moment I saw my daughters lifeless body in what was supposed to be a bed. "

-Miljana Martinović (Katarina's mother):
"First, after leaving, I went to my other daughter who was in front and told her
"He killed Kata.."
I don't know how to explain that scream of hers...
You don't know how much she was looking forward to entering her teenage years, that 13th birthday, the dog she was supposed to get as a gift.
She was killed at the age of 12 years, 9 months and 9 days. "

In her shocking testimony, Miljana also said that she felt the energy with which Katarina captivated her when she came to take things from the apartment.

-Miljana Martinović (Katarina's mother):
"A piece of paper fell out of my closet, on which was written
"I love you the most in th world" with her signature an a heart.
She used to leave me such messages in a notebook. Now I kiss them everyday, as well as her pictures.
I feel love, pride and gratitude that I was her mom"

-Miljana Martinović (Katarina's mother):
I knew about Kosta from Kata telling me that he was a boy from "A" shift, explaining that there was a rumor around the school that there were terrible kids from that shift.
Nothing was done to help the boy, instead his parents lied to us, they didn't admit that he was sick. There's no way they didn't know, they had to see he was weird.
Four children from that class noticed he was strange."

A few days before the massacre, Miljana Martinsville saw the handwriting of her namesake's son, who took the life of her beloved daughter.
She regrets that she did not transfer her daughter to part time classes when she knew that she was not doing well in Ribnikar, even though she did get along with the other children.

-Miljana Martinović (Katarina's mother):
"I found his handwriting unusual, I would like it to be interpreted by a graphologist. I have his painted manuscript on viber, something from school, which Katarina sent on April 28. She asked me to help her interpret it, since it was illegible, written in a very unusual way. I was disturbed by that handwriting. Kosta also looked very strange in photos, because I saw as many as four from different periods and situations, his face was always expressionless."

-Miljana Martinović (Katarina's mother):
"His parents once hurt him to such an extent that we got a torn youth.
Based on the hearings, recordings and everything we have, there was not the closeness and relations that should have been in a family.
They are not responsible because they did not recognize any trace from May 1 to 3 and from 2017 to 2023.
They had to notice that something wasn't working. The lack of empathy and the weight of wanting to control other and wanting to hurt others. "

She also said that, according to the retelling, after the massacre at one birthday, Kosta was seen standing absent mindedly in the middle of the room, staring at one point while other children were sitting and socializing.

-Miljana Martinović (Katarina's mother):
"One parent entered the room and was amazed that all the children who were inside, looked at him.
Eight of them, except Kosta who was focused on the screen, he didn't even instinctively react. "

Her husband and the father of beautiful Katarina, Zoran Martinović, for whom is every day difficult and full of tears also confirmed that the killer had very strange manners.

Reading this testimony was very heartbreaking to me.
I couldn't imagine how this Christmas was without Katarina.
Especially since she is the youngest, she did not get to live longer.
Seeing its been 7 months and already reaching 2024, they are still very heartbroken, fighting and mourning for their daughter.
Condolences to the Martinović family💔
