Elena is a classmate and a good friend of the victims. She was present that day and luckily was able to escape.

"On May 3rd 2023, we had a regular history class, where we were learning a new lesson. It was about 5 minutes before the end of the class when we heard gunshots, thinking they were firecrackers. After that, he entered the classroom with two pistols and started shooting our history teacher, he also shot V.P (Vladimir Popović) and his best friend V.M (Velko Milosević). We all his under the desks in shock, I screamed at one point. He probably looked for the source of sound. I stood up, and jumped over the lifeless body of my friend, A.C (Andrija Čikić). I ran out of the classroom. Behind me was a girl L.V (Lazara Veliković) and two boys V.V and M.P (Marko Pavlović). We ran for our lives. The four of us survived. "
