Coriolanus wakes up to his alarm blaring at him. He looks over at the clock, 4 am. He sighs and groans. It's day three of the Hunger Games. This is the longest the games have ever gone. There were only 5 tributes left. The boy from 1, the boy and girl from 2, the girl from 4, and the boy from 11. Coriolanus had his money on the boy from 2, of course not his money, it was the Plinths he was gambling away. He put $1,000 down on the boy from 2 to win. If it hit, he would win back $4,000, he would be able to put that down on a house for himself and Livia. He needed to get up and go to work early. The broadcast started back up at 6 and Dr. Gaul wanted him there by 5.
He pushed himself out of bed and got into a suit. He had a good feeling today was the last day. We would know our 11th victor by the end of the day. There would be a big celebration in the Capitol. He would attend a party with Livia on his arm to celebrate the big win.

As he walked into the game headquarters he made his way over to Lucy Gray's room first. They hadn't talked much since reaping day, with both of them being so busy with work and putting on a show. He had more information about the shipment coming in that he could get her on.
"Lucy Gray? Are you in here?" He says peaking into her room. He walked into her room further after no response. The dress that she was expected to wear was laid out on her bed. He heard a light humming and turned around to see Lucy Gray walking out of her bathroom with only a towel covering her.
"Coriolanus, what are you doing?" She said shocked pulling her towel closer to her body.
"I'm sorry, I just wanted to talk to you. I have some more information about our plan" he said covering his eyes.
"Our plan?" She asked confused. Well Coriolanus had the plan by himself but it wasn't for him so our plan just made the most sense to say to him.
"My plan? To get you out of here" he said trying to make it singular.
"Oh, you're still doing that thing...you pretend you can't go with me because of your perfect life here" she said. He scoffed at her. His brain told him he couldn't, only his heart could convince him to leave with her.
"I don't want to go Lucy Gray. I told you, I want you out of here. I never want to see you again!" He said raising his voice. She gave him a sarcastic nod and smirked. She walked closer to him, trying to limit the amount of space that was between them. She looked up into his eyes.
"There's nothing I can do to convince you?" She asked teasing. His heart started doing that stupid thumping thing and breathing was getting harder. She placed her hands on his abdomen and slide them up slowly to be around his neck.
"Coryo, I think back all the time to our days together in twelve. How nice it felt to have our bodies touch" she said. He tried to look anywhere but at her. She was teasing him, she knew the will she held over him. She was the only one that could break the ice over his heart.
"Lucy Gray, I just came to tell you about how I'm going to get you out of here. I didn't mean to interrupt you while you were getting dressed" he said trying to find a way out of this situation he was in.
"Then leave" she said. She took a small step back from him and let her towel fall to the ground.
"Like you said, I need to get dressed" she said letting him stare at her. He had never seen a real life naked woman, only pictures in anatomy books. He tried his best to not look but couldn't help it, he was enamored with her. He wanted to kiss every inch of her body. She turned away and walked behind the curtain in her room to put her dress on. Coriolanus let out a deep breath. He quickly adjusted his pants to not embarrass himself in front of her.
"So Coryo, what do you have to tell me?" She said from behind the curtain. His brain was in shambles, he couldn't form a cohesive thought.
"Um, uh, so the train...the train. It's gonna get into the Capitol...around 10 pm on Thursday..." he says struggling. She lets out a little laugh at him. She comes out from behind the curtain wearing a beautiful light blue gown. He scans her up and down, how can he ever look at her the same when he knows what perfection lies underneath her clothes.
"Do I look pretty?" She asked doing a spin for him. He nodded. "Of course you do, Lucy Gray. You're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen" he says letting his heart open slightly. She steps up to him again placing her hands on his face.
"My sweet Coryo, I wish you would listen to your heart. You should come with me up North. We could be enough for each other" she says.
He shakes his head no, he knows they would fight. He knows they would be happy for a month tops and then both want something different. A tear slowly falls from his eyes.
"I'm sorry Lucy Gray. I can't go with you" he says.
She pulls him down and gives him a tender kiss. He only kisses back slightly, not wanting to dive completely into her warmth.
"You can come with me. You just need to remember who you really are. I beg you to listen to your heart" she says before walking out of her room.
