Chapter 2

Nix goes on to get to another lever to move a different ladder Nix used it to get through the exit there were a lot of rooms to go through but there was a deep long hole in the middle of one room so Nix had to crawl up to get on some pipes and to jump onto another one where the hole on the ground was. Nix got down afterwards and getting into a control room pulling levers to some of the buildings power and the lights go on Nix goes into a storage closet to shut the door and turned on the sinks water to get a Nome to scamper out Nix grabbed the Nome carrying it to a garbage chute so they can open it for her to get in. Nix slides into a big box that was in a room full of garbage filled garbage bags while trying to get through the garbage she heard something like a monster crawling to get to her but Nix got onto a platform making the creature disappear into the garbage. Nix pressed a button to move a big plane propeller then she went to a lift as it hooked onto a crate to lift it up while Nix got the propeller to move where she could lower the crate onto it. Nix got onto it walking across the next platform and to another one so she could move two garbage bins to slide down. Nix climbs the air ducts avoiding the falling trash when she makes it to the top. Nix goes into a room and to the next floor as she got on a couple boxes to get a broken cloth hanger to bring the other room seeing Six on some cages to get into a vent Nix used the hanger to get a glowing battery off a box that almost crushed Nix who casually just grabbed the battery and put it in the machine that was missing one where Nix got the broken cloth hanger this activated the clothing line to start moving she finds the same red scarf that the kid she freed had which was odd she thought the kid had been gone already so why was their scarf here. Nix used the scarf to knock down a box and as a way to take her to the next vent where Nix landed in a basket seeing The Butler ironing some childs clothing. Nix climbs up a stack of books as she got an iron ready and plugged in this made the iron burn a hole on what it was on while this is happening Nix ran for cover as the iron burning distracted The Butler. Nix gets into two laundry machine rooms as the second one was used to get in a vent to get on the laundry machines to get the working laundry to be done then she jumped in a wagon for clothes to hide from The Butler who came in to get the clothes. Nix got out of the cloth wagon so she could get in the room and get the key off the clothing rack to bring to the second laundry room and avoid The Butler's eyesight. Nix was going to where the key belonged unlocking the door going through the path to get into an area where the vents paths would be. Nix pushed something down so she can go to the other way to go above the vents Nix took the item to the second vent entry then turned two valves when Nix goes into another room to turn that other valve and pull a rope to connect a pipe to the other pipes to blow air so it can push a screwdriver off a top shelf when she got it Nix unscrewed a power box to mess with the wires and attract The Butler to come in. Nix ran for the vent to escape as The Butler threw a box after her when Nix landed on a spider web breaking through she rolled on a wooden plank and grabbed a sand bag that was tied to the wooden plank then she landed on a pile of sandbags going through a hole in the wall to see a kids room. Nix used a seesaw to get on a table to pull a lever turning on the lights and used a toy train to get on a drawer to climb up two stacked cages and a platform to push down a box when she slides down a slide to get to the box so she could undo the kid gates lock. Nix opened the gate to get into a bedroom to see two Nomes jumping on a queen size bed. Nix gets on a drawer to go in a vent and pulled a valve when she got back she goes around freeing and getting a lot of Nomes as they go to jump on the bed so they can show her where the next exit to go through and she got onto the next platform crossing a bridge to see The Butler taking the scarf kid away into another room. Nix goes into the next room to see the scarf kid at a long table with other kids when Nix tugged on the scarf kids scarf the kid fell to the ground lifeless which send a little chill down Nix's spine as she got on the table looking at the other kids seeing their emotionless faces. Nix gets up on the shelves to get on suitcases to get on the platform to get on the shandlers to swing on them and get to a vent as she crawls in. Nix got into a movie room to see more kids with lifeless faces. She pulled the plug on the tv then got on a chair acting like the other kids. The Butler came in with tea as he plugged the tv back in then left when he was gone Nix followed him out when she walked down the hall when she nearly tripped on a loose floorboard this gave Nix an idea as she went under the floorboard. Nix walked in and upon hearing a girl playing a tea party in. Then she got into another room that looked like a fancy piano room. Nix ran back and forth on the piano keys and this opened a secret ladder to get up on the second level of the room.
