Mono is a short and scrawny pale-skinned boy who has short, messy black hair that sticks out a little bit. Mono has a fairly skinny and slightly more angular facial structure and dark eyes. Mono was under some broken floorboard hearing children screams and there was fire. Mono got out of the hole in the floor to see the other kids running around trying to find an escape while the fire burned the building. Mono heard the pipes on the ceiling working then the fire sprinklers activated putting out the fire and getting the children wet. A very tall figure appeared in the darkness and grabbed one of the children who cried out alerting Mono and the other children to the man's presence. Mono and the other children flee as one by one the children were being taken leaving Mono he only one left. Mono goes upstairs seeing an open window processing whether he should jump out the window or find a hiding spot. The stairs creaked, catching Mono's attention with no time to decide Mono ran to a TV with a broken screen going inside it to hide. The man walked into the room just standing in front of the tv where Mono was as the moon light went away.
Deep in the night of a forest Six was running and kept running until she saw a beacon of light. Six hides behind a tree when she looks on the other side of the tree she sees who was holding the lantern. There was the hunter who is a large, humanoid monster with a somewhat stocky physique and a massive head covered by a burlap sack tied around his neck with twine, with a single eyehole where his right eye would be, topped with a brown Gatsby cap. The rest of the Hunter's outfit consists of a green overcoat, brown trousers, brown gloves, and black leather work boots. His coat is noticeably worn and crudely stitched together, with the seam of his right shoulder being the most threadbare, revealing a white cotton-like substance bulging out from between the stitches. This may either be the insulation of the Hunter's jacket, or an implication that the Hunter himself is filled with stuffing, similar to the rest of the taxidermy in his home. The Hunter also has heavy breathing, as seen when being idle. Six who, like other children, is much smaller than the adult characters of the series, being barely a third of their height with an extremely small, thin frame. Using her brain Six grabbed a pebble to use as a distraction which worked as the hunter shot the pebble with a shotgun breaking it during this Six ran while the hunters back was turned. Six crawls under some tree routes to get to the other side and to safety when she sees Mono whose face is hidden by a light brown paper bag with two round eye holes that enable him to see. He wears a one buttoned olive-colored trench coat that reaches below his knees above a brownish-gray shirt tucked into his long brownish-gray pants rolled up at the end. His hands and feet are bare. Mono is on a tree branch staring at Six who stares back but this turns out to be Six's undoing since it gave the hunter enough time to appear in front of Six then everything went dark.
