Little Nightmares story

Chapter 3

Nix got on a machine that took her up to a different room where she saw The Pretender who appears to be a young child no taller than Nix. She has long silver hair, bangs that cover her eyes and a ponytail. She wears a green Victorian era dress with white ends. She wears lipstick, however it is smeared all over her lips as though she quickly applied it herself. Nix saw The Pretender bring out the scarf kid out throwing them on the floor yelling at it before dragging them outside. Nix goes downstairs about to leave until The Butler comes out and tries to crush her with the shandler but fails. Nix ran for it outside avoiding the falling statues and pillars because of The Butler that Nix even avoided a falling toilet in the garden. Nix kept running when she saw Six at the gate also trying to escape the two got the gate open while Six ran ahead the two kept running as Nix helped Six get through obstacles. Nix ran when she saw a bridge with a long fall but as she ran across it broke, luckily Nix grabbed on and climbed up it. Nix ran into a workshop closet as she shut the door and brought something to wedge the door shut. Nix went down into a cavern area when at the end she sees The Pretender sitting on a bench looking out at the sea with the scarf kid not looking so well. The Pretender looks back to see Nix this angered her as Nix ran for it going to the edge and crawled down the side to avoid The Pretender but it didn't this chase goes on for a while Six met the at a ledge trying to get Nix attention until the ground broke and Six fell. Nix and The Pretender kept it up though when Nix saw Six hanging on a tree root Nix broke a withered tree for Six to walk on like a bridge when Nix sees that Six is safe. Nix continued to run from The Pretender who continued to chase her until Nix was at the edge cornered while The Pretender approached her until The Pretender was hit behind by a piece of a boulder that broke behind her. Six panted relieved to have saved Nix in time as the two smiled at each other but then Six gasps seeing The Pretender getting up Nix looks to see what Six is looking at only for The Pretender jumped at Nix tackling her off the cliff Nix reached out for Six as she fell toward the water and landed in the water but all that was left behind was the yellow raincoat as it floated in the to the surface. Six ran down the cliff edges to make a makeshift row boat in search for Nix.
