Chapter 8

Mono and Six go through the window to get out of the shack and use a lone door near the river as they use it like a raft. During the ride they see a lot of TVs floating in the ocean. The place was foggy as well when they made it to land. Mono kept Six feeling safe that they could do it. Mono and Six explore the land walking through an abandoned building into a city going through a barbershop. Mono and Six ignore it as they continue on to get up the building they were in. Six was separate from Mono who jumps over to her as she catches him lifting Mono up here. The two go up more when they see another child made of black static but when Mono goes up to them the child disappears going into Mono. The two go up more unt they make it to the final level getting into a room with a TV that was turned on. The room was wavering while Mono tried to ignore the static TV. Mono couldn't ignore it so he went up to the TV and touched it, changing the TV to a more clear look from static. The image looked like a long hallway, Mono was pulled into the TV so Mono ran down the hall going to a door that was at the end of the hallway. Six pulled Mono out of his trance as the TV turned off they got up and to a window for an exit. Mono and Six got out of the building and walked down the street of the city they made it to a school and climbed a rope into the school. Mono turned off the light and threw objects where the light was coming from a painting which was knocked down. Mono and Six made it in and jumped on a trapped door walking under the floorboard as they found a vent and walked in it. Mono and Six made it to the next lower level of the school. They walked through the hallway and saw a shadow of the teacher going back in her classroom. Mono avoids a bucket that swings down from the ceiling after stepping on a floorboard. Mono and Six were getting past a barrier when they heard someone running off. Mono and Six avoid two buckets swinging down getting an item to avoid a locker falling from the roof. Mono and Six went down another path when they were nearly hit from a swinging ceiling light but they dodged in time. Mono and Six continue on walking through the school when Mono gets trapped by an opened locker that fell on as the bullies came, taking Six away. Mono got out and, taking a hammer, he smashed the head of one of the bullies who tried to attack him. Mono goes on the search for Six as he avoids a trap which shatters a bully. Mono didn't seem bothered as he continued on his search and rescue for Six when he made it to the teacher teaching a class. Mono stays quiet sneaking through the classroom using the desks with bullies in them as a hiding spot. Mono only starts moving when the teacher isn't looking when he makes it into a closet. Mono was about to climb on a drawer but when he felt it about to fall on him Mono jumped off and got out of the way as he went to hide when hearing the teacher come. The teacher peeks in when she sees nothing. The teacher stretched her neck to search better but still saw nothing so she left shutting the door. Once she was gone Mono got out and went through a vent like pathway seeing the teacher hitting the bullies desk with a ruler scaring the bully as the teacher scolded them then walked to the other bullies. Mono goes and sneaks around the room as the teacher gets in more closely to scold the bully while Mono did the same tactic that he used when getting in the room. Mono was almost gonna make it out until the teacher spotted him and stretched her neck to go after him which caused Mono to start running and get into the school's elevator going up. Mono made it to the next upper level Mono made it in a detention room to see a bully on a child leash with a dunce cap while drawing on the chalkboard and floor when the bully saw Mono and tried to him but the child leash prevented the bully from doing so. Mono ran for a metal pipe while the bully recovered then once the bully went towards Mono only for Mono to bash the bullies head in then go to the next room and go through the vent once he landed out the other end Mono accidentally knocked down two bottles into the missing part of the broken floor. The teacher was down there who heard the bottles shatter so Mono ran for a hiding spot as the teacher stretched her neck up to see who had knocked down the bottles. Mono made it to the other end of the room avoiding letting anything get the teachers attention. Mono climbs a makeshift rope made out of clothes then pushes down a wooden plank to make a bridge so he could get in the vents as he crawled through it. Mono made it to the other end to make it to the school's library seeing through a bookshelf that the teacher came into the room. Mono uses a ladder to get onto a desk when a book fell off the desk this made Mono make a run for it. The teacher's head busts through the books in the shelves that's keeping them apart as she goes after him. Mono made it in a place the teacher's head couldn't fit so she left. Mono jumps on a bookshelf climbing on it to get to the other end as he avoids her line of sight when she looks for him. Mono got to the other end and ran to the door opening it then went to hide when he heard the teachers footsteps so when he peeks out there was the teachers head stretched to go look for him even walking through the door. Mono pulled a box of books over to the shut door to open it as he continued his search for Six. Mono made it into a room with a life size game of chess one of the bullies was tied to a chess piece seemingly dead. Mono put the chess pieces in a pattern to open a pathway pulling a light to the things he needed like a key to get to the rooms he needed. Mono crawled up a tray cart to get into the kitchen to see another bully smashing the head with a ladle to the other bullies who came in to attack him but one of the bullies heads came off so Mono put it on as a disguise. Mono walked through the lunch room as the bullies were everywhere being troublemakers not suspecting Mono same for the ones in the hallway as they played in the hallway. Mono fell and the head shattered; this didn't bother Mono who just continued on his way. Mono found a brain in a jar using it to open a door that had a button. Mono immediately hides when seeing the teacher in a biology lab with dead frogs in jars. Mono goes in the same room the teacher went in a few minutes ago. Mono sneaks through the biology room avoiding the teacher's sight as she dissects the frogs and washes her hands while writing on the chalkboard. Mono goes up into a vent going down and forward getting out grabbing a hammer dragging it to a bully who was drawing an unusual eye. Mono smashed the heads of three bullies who went to attack him as Mono also dodged a falling bucket trap. Mono wanders the halls dragging the hammer smashing the bullies who try to attack him avoiding another bucket trap. Mono made it to the bathroom seeing Six being held in the air upside down by the bullies as Mono saved her. Mono goes to Six holding his hand out to her to help her out as Six takes it. Their journey continues on going to another building connected to the school using a piano to smash the floor so he could get down to the next lower level as Mono sneaks past a bully dissecting a frog. Mono took a key and a pipe as he opened a door and continued on when he saw Six go to an unexpecting bully and choke it to death. Mono and Six continue on their journey as they help each other get through. They made it to a room on a platform where the teacher was down there playing a piano. Mono sneaks down and across the room winding a lever to lower a bridge for Six to use so she and him can get across. Mono gets back up avoiding any way to get the teacher to notice him as he gets to Six who was having trouble getting the vent door open. Mono came to help when they got it open they immediately ran in due to hearing the teacher stop playing the piano so they got the barrier open. The teacher's head is being squeezed through as Mono and Six start making their way through the vent as the floor and roof bends while the teacher tries to get through to catch Mono and Six. Mono trips a bit as Six kept running when Mono catched up he saw a gap between the vents and building with Six there waiting for Mono who jumped over being caught by Six they avoided the teachers attack. The two kept running until they slid into a dumpster. When the teacher came out she didn't see them so she went back in to do her own thing again.
