Chapter 11

Tigresses Pov

After running for so long with the rest of the Furious Five since the night prior we've finally arrived at the bridge known as the thread of hope, catching our breaths, we find ourselves seeing Tai Lung on the other side of the bridge as he growls at me I return the act in kind then he roars and runs at us full speed remembering when I was a kid how powerful he was even back then "Cut it!" I ordered as we cut all the ropes holding the bridge together then seeing he would jump easily to the other side immediately I clash with him to keep him on the bridge that the rest of the five are now holding together as I get into a fighting stance, he just gets into a relaxed pose "where's the Dragon Warrior and the Lightning Blade Wielder?" he asks simply "how do you know you're not looking at us?" I ask back with a serious tone as he laughs at me "you think I'm a fool?" he retorts "I know you're not the dragon warrior nor the Lightning Blade Wielder NONE OF YOU!" he says calling my bluff as I growl again at him once again "I heard how the Dragon Warrior fell out of the sky on a ball of fire and the Lighting Blade Wielder came crashing down with his pinwheel eyes destroying everything in his path like lighting from a thunderstorm that they were warriors unlike anything the world has ever seen" "Lei?" "Po?" Viper and Monkey ask each other the at the same time "so that is their names Lei...and Po...finally two worthy opponents our BATTLE WILL BE LEGENDARY!" he yells excited as I immediately go on the offensive as we clash with neither gaining the advantage of the other as we use the bridge against each other until I get stunned and knocked back on the bridge feeling the rope of the bridge tangle on my neck when it suddenly untangles and I fall as Crance swoops down to lift me back up as I see viper trying to use Tai Lungs own fist against him which fails as Monkey goes in to save Viper knocking Tai Lung away as Mantis is left holding onto the bridge I see Tai Lung rushing to us hopping from rope to rope "Mantis!" I call as he nods and shakes the ropes of the bridge the rest of the five seeing what I was up to jump in time to avoid the hit Tai Lung however got caught by the attack seeing the opening Crane drops me down to the rope "now!" I yell as we all do a battle yell and charge after Tai Lung hitting him with combo after combo not giving him a chance to recover as Crane then uses the rope to tie up our opponent as I then with Cranes help to give me a boost I hit Tai Lung with all my might as he falls, and Mantis saves the rest of us minus Crane from falling to our deaths as we take a breath of relief thinking we won the fight 'see Master this is what you trained us for!' I think to myself as then we hear the bridge making an odd noise as I notice the rope, he was tied on was swinging as my eyes widen not believing he was easily escaping when it suddenly flings towards our direction as we hear a crash noise behind us and find Tai Lung right there "Shifu taught you well" he says using an attack on Monkey I'm all too familiar with...his Nerve Attack as Monkey lays there paralyzed "but he didn't teach you everything" he whispers as he then rushes to use the same attack on us

Po's Pov

"You have both done well" Master Shifu comments "done well? Done well we've done awesome!" I yell happily as I bump him with my belly remembering my brother and masters sparring match earlier before we left "Brother brother brother...never change..." Lei says chuckling "the mark of a true hero is humility..." Master Shifu comments "but yes you have done... awesome" he then adds as he punches my belly and we laugh it off as we then see a tired and beat up crane holding the furious five who look frozen and drops them in front of us as I then see a look of rage on Lei's face for a second as he heads to the five as do I "guys? guys?! their dead! No their breathing are they asleep? No their eyes are open!" I say trying to process what's going on "we were no match...for his nerve attack..." Crane informs "he has gotten stronger..." Master Shifu comments quietly as he unnerves Mantis "who Tai Lung stronger?!" I ask with fear as he unnerves Monkey "he's too fast!" "Ow!" I yelp "...sorry Po" he explains then apologizes since he accidentally punched me as he then unnerves Tigress "I thought we could stop him..." She whispers sounding defeated I can't help but look with sadness seeing Tigress in pain "he could have killed you..." Master Shifu says sounding worried "why didn't he?" Mantis asks as Lei looks down at Viper with worry as Master Shifu unnerves her "so you could come back and strike fear into our hearts but it won't work" Master Shifu explains "are you alright?" Lei asks viper in a gentle whisper sounding scared "I'm... alright..." She says smiling weakly as he then sighs in relief but still has an angry expression in his eyes especially since his sharingan is active "uh it might I mean a little...I'm pretty scared..." I admit with a bit of shame "when I get my hands on Tai Lung I'll show him what real fear is..." Lei says with a calm tone but a terrifying rage hidden within it as I comfort my brother by patting his shoulder "calm yourself Lei" Master Shifu says as Lei reluctantly takes a breath "only you two can stop him "are you kidding? if they can't they're five masters I'm just one me" I say as Lei looks at me dead serious "and I'm a young Uchiha with an incomplete sharingan and only learned of these abilities recently you're not alone in this brother we can beat him I still have the sword of heros and you still have one thing they don't" Lei says "indeed Lei" Master Shifu says smiling at us as we head into the hall of heros to where the dragon scroll is held as Lei calls the sword of heros from the dragon statues hand to his own as the sound of thunder echos the halls and lightning slightly surges through his body and the sword "that's still cool!" Po comments as viper gets on Leis shoulders to rest and heal as I look back at Master Shifu unsure "you really think I'm ready?" I ask uncertain "you are...Po" he says as I feel shocked and overjoyed he called me by my name as he then performs a ritual with Master Oogways staff using it to get petals of the sacred peach tree of heavenly wisdom to fly around the pool and have one land on top of the left side of the scroll as he then catches it with Master Oogways staff "the dragon scroll it is yours" Master Shifu says as he holds the scroll in front of me "wait what happens when I read it?" I ask excited and curious "no one knows but legend says you will be able to hear a butterfly's wing beat" Master Shifu says a bit excited to "woah really?! That's cool" I say admiring it's power "yes and see light in the deepest cave you will feel the universe in motion around you" Master Shifu explains it's legend as I then ramble on asking multiple questions on what it can do "focus...focus focus" Master Shifu reminds me as I nod my head "yeah yeah" I say giddy "read it Po and fulfill your destiny alongside Lei read it and become...the Dragon Warrior" he says handing me the scroll "woah" I say happily as I struggle to open it "this thing is impossible to open come on now!" then Master Shifu opens it for me "thank you...probably loosened it up for you though..." I say whispering the last part as I open the scroll slowly then scream in shock as everyone looks at me with fear and uncertainty "it's blank..." I admit stumped "what?!" Masters Shifu says shocked "here read it" I say "no I am forbidden to look upon..." He starts then takes it looking at the scroll finding it blank to "blank...I don't...I don't understand..." He says silently shocked "ok so like...Oogway is just some crazy old turtle after all?" I say with defeat "no Oogway was wiser then us all" Master Shifu explains "oh come on face it he picked me by accident at least Lei has the sword of heroes...of course I'm not the Dragon Warrior who am I kidding" I say defeated as even Lei is quiet unsure of what to say next "but who will stop Tai Lung?" Tigress asks "he will destroy everything and everyone" crane adds "no evacuate the valley you must protect the villagers from Tai Lungs rage..." Master Shifu says "what about you Master?" Tigress asks "I will..." Master Shifu starts "no we will" Lei adds as we all look at him with shock and me and viper look at him with sadness as well "but Master... brother... he'll kill you both..." I say heart broken "listen brother I will do everything in my power to protect you all with my life at least me being here gives Master Shifu a better fighting chance and time for you guys to escape... besides he wants my sword to" he explains as Master Shifu looks at him reluctantly "Lei...are you sure?" He asks as Lei nods his head "I owe him...for nerve attacking...her.." I hear him whisper not sure if anyone else heard him "then I will accept your help... listen to me everyone this will allow me to be able to pay for my mistakes...you guys have to continue your journey without me...I am very proud to have been your Master" Master Shifu says as he bows and we all bow with him in respect "and I am very proud to be you guys friends and most of all Po I'm proud to be your brother" he says smiling sadly "please reconsider this we need you!" Viper yells desperately as Lei looks at her smiling sadly "I must give you guys enough time to escape I won't let my home be destroyed and I won't let him hurt anyone anymore especially Po...and you" he says kissing her head as she looks at him with shock then sets her on Tigresses shoulders "this is goodbye everyone...and Po don't do anything stupid" he says as I sadly chuckle "how can I your taking all the stupid with you?" I say laughing quietly as the four of the furious five and reluctantly me and viper leave the jade palace as I shed a few tears at Lei's decision to help Master Shifu but also not wanting to waste their sacrifice for us
