"For the immortal, there is nothing more scary than finding out that the one destined for you is a hunter."
Tried Explaining.
Here goes nothing...enjoy.
Matthew woke up to the smell of fresh coffee by his bedside. He got up and headed to the bathroom. The bathroom was really huge. Its floors were dressed in black tiles as well as the walls. The shower and the bathtub were a deep purple. His favourite colour. He walked over to the sink and brushed his teeth. Minutes later he got into the shower to have a rather long shower. Today he was lucky not to have images of the dark woman he had seen.
He wrapped a towel around his waist and walked back to his bedroom. The bed was already made indicating his nanny had been to the room. He sat at the edge of his bed as he sipped his cup of coffee. His thoughts wandered off to what he was handling now. Finding Black bird.
It started out as simple task but now nothing was easy about it. All leads they had were just pointless. She was good at hiding. Only if her boss could tell them.
With a sigh of frustration he finished up
his coffee in one gulp. Having placed the mug by his bedside table he walked into his walk in closet.
He got changed into a pair of cream coloured pants which he paired up with a green sirt.
Satisfied with his look he picked up his phone and exited the room.
I must get her to talk today! He tell himself. He was already tired of fooling around. His nanny was vacuuming the room as he stepped in she smiled up from her work and
She was all he had now. The only person who could remind him of his family. She had looked after him from the age of just three. She was also the one to inform him that his family had been murdered.
He kissed her on the cheek goodbye and left the house. His parents' home.
He got into the back of the awaiting car.
"Good morning sir," the driver greeted.
""Morning,Simon. Head to the lady's home," he says as he sits back in his seat.
They travelled in silence. As they came up to the mansion where he had her trapped a frown formed on his face. Whitney was hard to crack. He had gathered enough information about her but there was nothing he could use against her.
He though back to the day he had started questioning her.
****FLASH BACK****
"We meet at last,Mrs Whitney," i said as i stepped into her living room.
"I am sorry sir,but do i know you?" she asked.
"Not really, but you did know my family. The Stevens," i replied as i sat down.
Her calm posture diminished at the mention of my family name. She was now pale and i saw the fear in her eyes.
"Looks like you know why am here,Mrs Whitney. Have i come too early to take my revenge?" i asked calmly.
She sat down and tried to speak but all she managed to do was open and close her mouth severely.
"The Stevens died sir," she finally managed.
"I was not aware that there was another family member," She continued.
I watched as her knuckles tightened its hold on the tea cup she held.
"You were wrongly informed, i am the eldest child of my parents and i haven't really been home," i started. "I was shocked to learn that my family died," i continued.
She nervously drank her tea. She was indeed a beautiful woman. All tales of her were true.
Too bad i had to make her pay.
