Miguel quickly went inside and shut the door behind him. Well that was embarrassing.

"Who was that?"

Miguel turned and realized that Lisa had been watching the two through the window "Nobody"

"Didn't look like nobody" she said before smirking "Your really red by the way"

Miguel quickly looked into a mirror to see he did look flushed. Still embarrassed from what he said outside. He also realized that although Lisa was watching she couldn't hear them, "It's not like that"

"Sure it isn't" she said almost singing while smiling cheekily. Lisa may have been only a year younger than him but she was way worse than he was at 14, "anyway can you make dinner I'm starving"

Miguel took the bags to the kitchen and put the food away before taking out some tortillas, "You know when dad's getting home?"

"Nah, he's probably not gonna be here for another hour or two though" she said before plopping on the couch.

With that Miguel went back to chopping vegetables recounting the days events.

After Miguel went inside Camilo stood in the same spot for a moment. Before turning and walking off when realizing it was a bit creepy to just stand outside someone's house.

Camilo couldn't understand why he kept thinking of their interactions. There wasn't anything special about it. Maybe it was the fact the boy didn't seem so star struck by Camilo like many of the other villagers, who when seeing him would immediately ask for him to shapeshift into someone.

Camilo didn't mind it was part of the job but he wasn't used to someone not asking him to entertain them. Maybe that's why he couldn't stop thinking of the boy.

His name is Miguel.

When he said that Camilo had wished he had a camera. Something about the way the wind blew in the boys hair was almost mesmerizing.

Actually that's a weird way to think of someone you just met. Camilo realized this and felt his face grow a bit warm. He tried clearing his mind as he reached his home but the memory replayed.

"Mijo are you okay?"

Camilo turned to see his mom handing a basket off to Luisa. She looked a bit worried but Camilo smiled to reassure her "I'm fine Mami"

"Are you sure?" She said and began feeling his forehead with her palm "You aren't getting sick are you"

"I'm fine really mama" Camilo said as she continued to press his face and a small cloud formed above her head.

"Cmon Pepa, don't worry your forming a cloud" Camilo was relieved to be saved by his Papa "By the way Camilo your Abuela wants your help setting the table"

So much for being saved.

"Lisa dinner is ready!" As Miguel finished setting her plate he could hear her running down the stairs to the table.

"Man does this food look delicious" she said as she began filling her plate with food. Just at that exact moment their dad walked through the door, "Papi you need to see what Miguel made, it's so good"

"I'm sure it is"

"I'll fetch you a plate dad" Miguel sad as their dad took off his work boots and put on a comfier pair.

"So how was your guys day?" Their dad asked as he sat down and filled his plate.

"Same as usual" Miguel said eating another bite "took some photos and made dinner"

"He lying yknow I saw him talking to a boy earlier" Lisa said grinning before taking another bite.

"And how did you see them if you're supposed to be grounded" their Dad asked before taking another bite of food.

"I saw them through the window I swear I didn't leave the house, you know I would never" Lisa said now a bit frantic and waving her arms around while trying to explain "Miguel can tell you, cmon tell dad I didn't leave the house"

Lisa gave Miguel a pleading face while looking over at their dad "She stayed home all day dad"

"See dad" Lisa said throwing Miguel an appreciative smile and Miguel felt happy to have kept his sister out of trouble until she smirked "so the guy what were you doing together?"

"He insisted helping me carry the groceries home"

"That's rather nice of him" Their dad said as he was scraping his plate for extra food.

"He offered to carry the groceries" Lisa said still not dropping the topic "rather nice thing for a stranger to do or have you two met before?"

"Well since your so curious I'll tell you he was doing it to make up for ruining my shot" Miguel said before stuffing more food in his mouth "I was taking photos of a chameleon and the guys yells scaring it off. Honestly who knows when I'll get the chance to do that again"

After that the family continued to eat silently as Lisa dropped the topic as her brother continued to complain about the boy.

Camilo sat at the dinner table with his family, the adults were talking of a match for Isabella while Dolores was chattering away about gossip she had heard throughout the day.

Camilo was silent for once his mind still replaying the events of the day and once the conversation settled down he finally spoke "Do any of you know a boy called Miguel Gomez?"

His family went silent for a moment all looking at him since his question did come out of nowhere, his Mami was the first to speak, "why do you want to know about him?"

"I just met him for the first time today, I'm honestly surprised I've never seen him before and I'm a bit curious"

"I've only talked to him a few times" Mirabel said speaking up from barely talking before "he seems nice although his a bit quiet"

"Miguel Gomez" his Tia said with a puzzled expression "his name seems familiar where have I heard it before"

"He's the boy who's in charge of taking our photos for the parties" Abuela said, Camilo wasn't expecting for her to know this information, "you know the boy with the old camera"

"So that's why he seems so familiar" his Tia said and his family began to discuss a bit. Camilo meanwhile thought of how he had never seen the boy before.

If he had been taking their pictures he'd been behind the camera Camilo was taught to smile at. So how had he never seen him before. He's sure he would remember a face like his. He can't seem to forget about it now.

"He's talking about you with his family" the whole table turned to look at Dolores who has now suddenly spoken up out of nowhere "more like complaining really"

Now eyes were on him, "what did I do?"

"Something about scaring off some chameleon and messing with his shot" she said before shrugging and making a slight squeaking sound.

"Oh that," he said before realizing his family had their eyes on him "but don't worry guys I made it up to him I helped him carry his bags to his home"

His family looks lingered but eventually they moved on and continued talking amongst themselves. The rest of the night he kept thinking. As he washed up, changed, and laid in bed.

He talked about me at dinner
