Remus and I are studying in the library behind a barrier of books. I have no idea, how long we have been sitting here on the floor like this, completely hidden. Just as I flip the next page, the book just slams closed. When I look up I realize, that the reason it had closed was because, Lily had pressed it down, so now it was at the floor. She smiled warmly at me, and I returned it with just as much warmth, stood up and hugged her. Severus was right behind her. He seemed a bit off, but it made sence since Remus was still here. Remus pretended not to notice Severus' reaction, and greeted Lily and said goodbye. Almost immediately Severus seemed to cool off. I followed the both of them, as we walked out of the library and the castle.

All three of them sat on the grass, Lily and Jaqueline up against a big tree.
"So. How are you? We haven't really talked a lot since last week."
Lily was the first to break the silence.
"Yes, I am sorry, I just have a lot of homework right now so... Yes, that's why. But I'm almost done with most of it, so I'm doing good."
'Liar.' she thought. 'You just keep lying to everyone. You need to speak up. Tell them, how you feel. Stop pretending, everything is alright.'
Jaqueline smiled. "What are you guys doing in the summer break?"
"Well. I'm going home. Back to my sister, and mom and dad."
Severus had that cold, emotionless, but yet calm and comfortable expression on his face.
"And you, Sev?" Jaqueline smilingly started. "Dulcis said, he was going home for most of the summer break, but we are going to stay at Riley's place for about a week. Him, Evangeline and I. And Riley, of course. Are you also going home?"
"Yes, I am going home. And you? Beside staying at the Lupins'."
"Well I am probably going home. But I have considered staying here at Hogwarts." Her smile faded a bit. She only let it in their presence. Them and Remus and Riley.
They all knew why she wasn't eager to return 'home'. Evangeline and Dulcis knew aswell but she still didn't let them see her without her mask. Not because she didn't trust them. She had simply gotten too used to it.
They sat there talking for a while untill a female voice interrupted them.
"Hello. Jaqueline? I finally found the book! I just need some help with understanding this. Will you help me?"
Evangeline barely paused to breath in between the words she said.
"Please." she quickly added as she remembered the fact that she had just interrupted a conversation.
"Of course!"
Jaqueline turned to Lily and Severus. "You can always change your mind." Severus nodded in understanding and Jaquline smiled before turning around.🌘•••☆•♡•☆•••🌒
After helping Eve in the library with Charms Jaqueline went back to her dorm to finish her own potions homework.
When she looked out the window all she saw was stars.
Stars, stars, stars and moon.
A big, shiny moon. She barely slept when there was a full moon.

"Moony" The voice that had said it sounded hushed.
"What-" The unmistakable sound of Remus groaning tiredly because of his dear friends. "You're not allowed to be here."
"Since when did that matter?" laughed Peter and the other two agreed. Jaqueline's eyes fluttered open. "Ugh"
All four heads snapped in her direction. She froze. It was still dark. She couldn't even see the red light, which would come with the sunrise, spread on the sky outside yet.
"Are you okay?" Remus. Remus had asked her a question. But she couldn't help but focus on the guilty look on The Marauders' faces. Of course they looked like that pretty often. For example whenever they had seemed to get caught unexpectedly in the middle of one of their many "tricks".
But this time it somehow looked different.
After a while she finally said "What?"
Remus looked concerned as he repeated his question.
"Are you okay?"
Suddenly Jaqueline realised this was the Hospital Wing. She had never been here because of herself. But she had a feeling this time was different. Usually she was here to visit Remus when his allergies striked. He would be all covered in bandages to keep him from itching any more than he already had and blankets to keep him warm. She would sit on a chair next to his hospital bed and eat chocolates with him. This time her whole body hurt. But she had experienced worse. This was nothing.
"Of course. But- why exactly am I here?" Her throat felt hoarse.
The Marauders all looked at each other worriedly.
"You really can't remember anything, can you?" James.
She looked to Remus who looked acually a bit funny. The way he had all of those blankets wrapped tightly around him, all the way up to his chin and the two pillows that had been somehow pressed in between the bed and his head. All of that mixed with the brotherly worried, tired and scared expression he had managed to have on his face.
"I will explain later." he seemed to decide in the end.
"Get some sleep."
And so Jacqueline closed her tired eyes once again.
"Are you going to tell her?" James again.
"Of course. She deserves to know."
"You deserve to make that decision yourself." Sirius.
"She is my sister and she should know something like that. I have already lied for way too long."And with that she finally drifted off to sleep.

The next morning Jaqueline had already forgotton, what had happend. She had been half-asleep.
She looked to her left, and there she saw Remus in the neighbouring bed, just a few meters away.
"Jaqueline!"
To her right she saw George. He looked worried.
"What happend?" She still couldn't remember.
George's eyebrows furrowed.
"Are you alright?" he asked.
"Yes. But it hurts. A bit. I've tried worse."
He knew what she meant by that. They spoke about how George had found out she was in the Hospital Wing. As soon as he had sat down in his History of Magic-class he had been asked to talk to the professor outside the classroom. When he had arrived in the Hospital Wing he had seen his younger brother sitting next to their sister's bed.
"Jack was here you know."
"What?" Her voice still wasn't back to normal. It was thin.
"J-Jack? Here?"
"Yes. He sat right here next to you. But he left when I came."
George didn't tell her what their brother had said. Couldn't get himself to do it.
"Good. I have better, more important things to do."
It was so few words.
But still they meant so much.Word count(above): 1146
