In a castle unknown to most people hundreds of children had finally arrived after their long summer-break.
They had arrived back at their second home.
They had waved goodbye to their parents and younger siblings who were yet too young to attend the school.
Yes.
The great, marvelous castle, filled with magic you have never even imagined... was a school:
Hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry
But besides from all the children who had longingly awaited their return to the school there were new students aswell.
A bunch of 11-year-olds waiting anxiously to enter through the great, majestic doors infront of them.
On the other side of those doors were every single student, every single teacher and even every single ghost, gathered.
But one thing that stood out was the hat placed neatly on a lonely stool before everyone who were sitting at each their colorful table.
The Sorting Hat.
An elderly woman introduced as "Professor McGonagall, Head of Gryffindor-house" read out both unfamiliar and familiar names from a long scroll in her hands. Every time she read a new name the owner of the name would step forth take their place on the stool and the old hat would take it's place on top of the young child's head...
and...
siel the fate of that very child with simply

word.
"Gryffindor" "Hufflepuff" "Ravenclaw" "Slytherin"
The first fate to be sieled belonged to a sweet and beautiful young girl. Her hair red against her pale skin like berries against the cold snow in winter. Her eyes were brown looking like a combination of melted chocolate and syrup.
"Andersson, Anna"
The girl took her first step towards her future.
Her destiny.
And the hat thought for right about 274 seonds or 4 minutes and 34 seconds. Yes. She counted.
"RAVENCLAW!"
Next up was a girl completely identical to the former one.
Some students had to look back and forth a few times before realising: twins.
"Andersson, Sara"
"SLYTHERIN!"
"Black, Regulus"
"SLYTHERIN!"
"Lestrange, Rabastan"
"SLYTHERIN!"
