I was about to catch up to Antonio when the clouds started acting up again, but this time, Antonio's cloud disappeared as he fell from the ceiling of my room with a loud scream. I immediately maneuvered my cloud to catch him and successfully did so
"Hush, Tonito, its okay, I got you now, primo" I cooed, going down to my bed and sitting there with him in my hold still
Dolores walked to us quickly with a soft whimper as she might've been frightened as well with what happened. I continuously caress Antonio's hair softly as his cries of fear slowly turned to sobs
"Antonio? Dolores? Elisa?" Camilo's voice called from outside as I sighed and picked up Antonio before leaving the room with Dolores beside me
I can't trust the clouds for now, not when Antonio almost fell to his death due to it, not when the miracle candle isn't as strong as it was before and definitely not when we are slowly crumbling down from inside
"We're here, Camilo" I called, catching his attention as he turned to us
"Where have you been? And why is Antonio clinging to you like that?" Camilo asked as we walked together to where Abuela, Tia Pepa, Tio Felix, Tia Julieta and Tio Agustin are
"We were in my room playing a game of cloud tag when my clouds suddenly acted up and disappeared beneath Antonio. He almost fell to his death if I wasn't able to catch him on time" I answered, slightly hesitating to say the last sentence
"You should've told me the second you saw the vision, think about the family" Abuela scolded Tio Agustin
"I was thinking of my daughter!" Tio Agustin stated
"Pepa! Calm down!" Abuela ordered as we all turned to Tia Pepa who have snow clouds
"I'm doing my best! You're lucky it's not a hurricane!" Tia Pepa answered as Tio Felix let out a small "yes" in-between while still trying to shoo away the cloud
"Ma, you've always been too hard on Mirabel" Tia Julieta said
"Look around, we must protect our family, our encanto. We cannot lose our home" Abuela stated as the door opens
"Senora, perdon, but the town is getting anxious about the magic and they wish to see you" A village person said
"Mirabel was in that vision for a reason. Find her." Abuela said as she drapes her cloak on and left the Casita
"Are you okay now, Antonio?" I asked as I tried taking a peek at him only to see that he fell asleep
"I'm sorry for putting you in danger, primo" I quietly whispered, kissing the top of his head before handing him over to Dolores and following after Abuela with my cloud
The sky seemed to get darker as I floated through the village, looking for Abuela when I finally spotted her talking to the townspeople. I sighed, knowing I almost failed to protect Antonio before, the most important task I was assigned to from when I was given a gift
"Elisa, dear, could you help me with these groceries" A lady asked me as I just nodded and sent a cloud to carry the bags of groceries to her home
"I think it's best if I limit the clouds for now" I muttered to myself as I successfully finished the task
