I remember that day very well.It was fall, A few days before Halloween. I, myself, was trying to get some sleep for the night full of work I'll have to do. To put it lightly, I didn't get to sleep very long.
"TOBIAS!" Tim yelled, as he slammed my bedroom door open. Causing me to jump awake.
"GET DRESSED, WE NEED SOME HELP!" He throw some clothes at me, well going on about some creature they found in the woods. I'm not going to lie, I wasn't paying much attention to him.
I was throwing on a shirt as he talked, soon being dragged out of the room the second I was done. He pulled me down stairs, and down into the basement. Handing me a few files and other papers.
"But anyways, you should probably see it." I gave him a confused look. "See it? See what?"
He very quickly answered my question. He opened a door to this small room. In the small room was this thing. All that came from it was growls and whines. I looked at Tim with a "What the fuck is this!?"
"We don't know what it is. Brian found it a few hours ago." He crossed his arms watching the thing.
I looked back at it again. It had a muzzle around its mouth, along with its hands and feet's being tried down. I felt kind of bad.
Whatever it was, it looked like it was crying. Black gloop came out of what I think is its eyes. It kind of looked pitiful.
I looked at Tim again. "What are you going to do with it?" He shrugged. "I don't know, that's why I brought you here. Thought you would have an idea. If not I'll go grab the operator."
I stood there for a second, just thinking.
"Well. If you ask me. I think it would help if you didn't have it tied up like that." He gave me a confused look. "We had too, it would try and bite us anytime we got close."
I scuffed at him. "Would you want to be around the people that tied you up, and brought you to a weird place?" He gave me an eye roll, as he sighed.
"Fine then. You can try and become besties with it." He shook his hands in the air, then crossing his arms as he stared at me.
I sighed, looking at it again. Slowly moving closer to it. It started growling and thrashing around again. I slowly got down at to it, sitting down next to it.
It started hissing at me, pushing itself into the corner of the room. I looked over at Tim with a shrug, getting up again.
I think we should leave it alone for now. Maybe it'll calm down later. Tim gave a nod, leading me out of the room.
