-The next day-
I woke up to the sound of someone pudding on my door, getting me to groan. "Whaaaat!?" I yelled, flipping myself onto me back, rubbing my eyes.
Tim walked in, leaning against the doorframe. "Oh sorry sleep head, did I interrupt your beauty sleep?"
I glared at him, as I sat up. "What do you want.?" I asked, still glaring at him.
"The creature wants you for some reason." He said, watching me as I got up.
"Do you know why he does?" I asked, starting to get changed.
"I don't know." He said, rolling his eyes. "But hurry up." He said, closing the door. I groaned again, deciding to take my sweet, sweet time. Mostly just cause I wanted to piss Tim off.
-A few minutes later-
I made my way day the basement stairs, seeing Tim standing next to the door that lead to Jacks places.
"Took you damn long enough.." He mumbled at me with a glare. He turned around and opened the door for me. Calling out to Jack "He's here."
I watched as Jack looked up, his tail wagging a little bit. "You're here?" He asked.
I nodded, "Mhm- What did you need?" I slowly got down on the floor in front of him.
I watched as he smiled a little bit. "I wanted to ask if I could go with you on the thing." He said.
I glanced over at Tim, getting a head shake. "Why not? I'm not going into town or anything-! I'm just going to walk around the woods for a bit." I said.
Tim glared at me. "So why does it know that.?" He asked.
I froze in my place. Shit! Shit!! shit!!! He's gonna catch on that I snuck in here!
"I- Um-" He stammered around a little bit. My ticks not helping me at all, only really making me trying to speak worst.
"I told him that if he took me out, I'll give him information!" Jack spook up for me.
Me and him known that was a lie, but Tom sure didn't.
"For what..?" Tim asked.
"For whatever you guys want." Jack said again, leaning back against the wall.
I was just sitting there as the two of them tested each other. Trying my best to calm myself down. What I mean by that is sit there and try to suppress them like Tim likes. He says they're "less annoying" that way.
Jacks ears twitched as he looked at me, getting me to look back. "U-Um. If you're fine with it. I'm going to take him now." I said, looking at Tim.
He rolled his eyes at me. "Fine. But if you die that's a you problem." He said, leaving the room as he did.
-A hour later-
Me and Jack have been walking around for a while. We've yet to run into a person or anything he could eat.
When we first left, Jack insisted on keeping to hand cuffs on. I couldn't tell you why, most cause he didn't tell me why. But oh well I guess.
"Toby.?" Jack asked, now having stopped walking.
I looked up at him. "Mhm.?"
Something I haven't noticed about Jack before hand, is how fucking tall he is- and I mean TALL. Like, he's actually towering over me.
"I still don't smell anything.." he said, looking down at me.
I gave him a shrug. "I don't know what to tell you. I'm never really out here looking for people." I told him.
He sighed, making his way over to a tree. Getting me to follow. I watched him as he sat down, his tail curling up next to him.
"Damn this was easier in town.." He said, running his hands through his hair.
"What do you mean..?" I asked.
"I mean I would go into town at night to get the food I needed. I could never find anyone in here, unless I went to that old path." I said, his hands falling as he did.
"Well.. We could go look there.?" I suggested to him, getting him to sigh.
"Sure. Why not?" He said, getting up.
