We kept laughing, even as Schlatt yelled at us to stop. Once we finally did, we asked what he saw. "What the fuck did you even see that made you scream like that?" Ted asked as I caught his breath from laughing.

"I no no wanna say... you'll laugh at me..." Schlatt answered, which made us laugh again. "Come on, dude. We won't judge. You can tell us," I said, trying to coax Schlatt into telling us. "Fine, it was a spider..." he finally said. Me and Ted looked at him for a second, trying to comprehend whether he was telling the truth or not.

We burst out in laughter, and Schlatt turned red as he yelled at us. "IT WAS A BIG ASS SPIDER!! IT WAS LIKE THE SIZE OF MY FUCKING HAND!! STOP LAUGHING, YOU DICKS!!!" He yelled, which was honestly pretty funny.

I stopped laughing when I saw Schlatt turn around, crouch down, and pick something up. He turned back to us with an evil little smirk. "Ted." I put my hand on Ted's shoulder, and he looked over at me, still giggling. "Ted, look at Schlatt," I said and pointed to Schlatt.

He looked over to Schlatt and also stopped laughing. "Oh shit," Ted said as he looked at Schlatt. "Uh, whatcha got there, Schlatt?" Ted asks as he continues looking at the devious ram.

"TAKE THIS BITCH!" Schlatt yells as he turns and chucks a huge ass spider at us. Ted screams as he flails his arms before running away. While I scream and duck down, getting on all fours and scurrying towards Schlatt.

Our efforts to avoid the big fucking spider worked, but they also caused Schlatt to collapse with laughter. "YOU SHOULD'VE SEEN YOUR GUYS' FACES!!!" He said as he cackled, rolling on the ground. "IM GONNA PEE MYSELF!" He said as his face got red. This caused me and Ted to crack a smile, despite us being a little mad at him.

Eventually, I couldn't fight it anymore and had to laugh at Schlatt. He was rolling on the floor with tears in his eyes; he was laughing so hard. "Dude, calm down! Damn!" I said as I laughed and stepped over to him, now standing over him.

I crouched down to be closer to him. "You need help getting up, bud?" I said with a giggle as I held out my hand to him. He was finally calming down and grabbed my hand. I pulled him to his feet, which was a little difficult because he was kinda big and he was not helping at all.

Once he got to his feet and was balanced enough to stand, I let go of his hand. He was catching his breath from laughing so hard, but he spoke to us. "Seriously, your guys' reactions were the best things I've seen in a while." Ted had come over while I was helping Schlatt up, and punched him in the shoulder lightly. "Oh, shut up; it was a big ass spider," Ted said as I rolled my eyes. "I said it was!" Schlatt said as he threw his hands in the air with a sigh.

"Come on, guys. We've only got a few hours of sunlight left, and we still need to find a place to sleep and make sure the infected don't find us. Especially because of the yelling Ted did earlier," I said, and they nodded in agreement. Ted grimaced a little.

Ted grabbed his bat again as Schlatt grabbed his crowbar, and we started moving again. As we moved, the sounds of the infected got louder until it sounded like they were right around a corner. The strange thing about it was that no matter how long we stood in one spot, they never seemed to get closer or farther. The infected are almost always moving, so this was really weird to us.
