Jenniferhad spent yet another day at Station 19, not working or anything just spending it with the team, she met Chief Lucas Ripley who told her to put on her transfer form that she'd like to move to 19 and he would approve it, she hadn't realised he had seen her rescue on the previous Monday. It was currently Thursday and Jennifer was due to fly back to Chicago in a few days time but she knew she'd be back in Seattle before she knows it. The girls from 18 have already started helping Jennifer with the shopping for her new apartment, and in a months time she's flying back to Seattle for the weekend to look at apartments with Andy and Vic, she was looking forward to that.
"What are you planning to do today?" Meredith asked sitting on Jennifer's bed as she was doing her make up. Meredith was already ready for work and the kids were asleep seeing as they didn't have to be up until 6:30 ready for school and it was only 5:25am.
"Shopping and then Vic and Travis for lunch and some day time drinking but then I thought I'd have a lazy evening" Jennifer said applying some mascara.
"We could have a movie night with the kids, order a take away. Amelia and Maggie are working tonight so it would be the five of us" Meredith said with a smile on her face.
"Sounds good to me. Do you want me to take the kids to school today, I don't mind" Jennifer asked as she sat on the stool in front of the vanity just as Meredith was paged.
"Would you, I've got to go, one of my patients. Meredith said motioning to her pager.
"Go. I'll bring you a coffee once I've dropped the kids off" Jennifer smiled turning Meredith.. Bailey and Zola were in school while Ellis was in nursery but they were all close by so Jennifer knew where each had to go.
"Thank you Jeni' get someone to page me if I don't answer the phone" Meredith informed Jennifer who smiled.
"I know" Jennifer smiled before she went to give the older woman a hug.
"See you later" Jennifer smiled to Meredith who smiled back to the redhead. Jennifer watched as Meredith left the room leaving Jennifer alone to finish getting ready for the day. Quietly Jennifer put on a playlist she had on her phone consisting of Taylor Swift, One Direction and JLS songs, mostly Taylor Swift. Jennifer brushed her hair and styled it in a half up and half down ponytail.
Once Jennifer was dressed and all ready for the day she headed to the kitchen to get breakfast ready for the three kids, she decided to make them pancakes with fruit, her favourite thing to make and the kids loved her pancakes, Jennifer liked to put some cinnamon into the pancake mix with some chocolate chips and hazelnut extract, the redhead loved making the pancakes for the people she cared about and she loved eating them too so whenever she made the hazel-cinnamon pancakes it was a win-win situation.
