I love the spring time. Definitely not because of going back to school, but because of the calming weather.

I felt the breeze pick up a little bit, blowing my heavy bangs of my face. At the same time, the sun shined brightly making it the perfect weather for the first day of school. I feel like I've been cursed for a couple years in a row.. on all of the first days, it would rain just making my mood 10 times worse. 

And it's not that I go outside a lot, but it needs to be nice weather for me to get on the bus. Or at least just not.. rainy. 

Ew, I hate it when my clothes get all wet and then I have to get into the bus with all of those other people that ALSO have wet and gross clothes.. I hate the thought of it. But thank god I—

"Gyubin-hyung!!"

I turn behind me. Oh, it's Matthew.

"Hey mattchuu" He hugs me from behind and starts to walk with me. 

Matthew has been my friend for 2 years now, we met in 9th grade. We sat next to each other in homeroom back then, and he's very friendly so like, who wouldn't want to be his friend. We also kind of have some things in common.

"Are you excited, hyung?" Matthew asks me. "Ah.. not really." I sighed and shook my head. "Yeah.. me too." He seems to just go along with my mood. 

"Hey, what do you mean.. you get to see your best friend again." I said. He nods. "Yeah that's true but I see Jiwoon-hyung everyday anyways." He says. 

"Haha.. right I forgot you two are inseparable. Are you sure you don't have a crush on him..?" I tease Matthew, leaving him flustered. "I- no I don't??! We're just best friends, nothing more or less!" 

I roll my eyes. "I see the way you look at him.. and I bet he likes you back~" 

He softly punches my stomach. "Your lucky you have no other friends besides me, otherwise I would be teasing you like this too." Matthew looked proud after saying that.

"Yah! I'll.. I'll make new friends this year. Just watch." I said.

"Who knows, you might find a girlfriend too. Then you won't have to be lonely when I'm with Jiwoon-hyung." Matthew tells me. "Yeah.. but I doubt it." I said.

I've never had a crush before, I used to have a girlfriend in middle school but she cheated like two weeks after. It wasn't a real relationship anyways, because I never truly liked her.

*In math class*

"Alright class, today we will start with something easy.. algebra!" Mr. Kim smiles as the whole class groans.

 I wish I was in kindergarten so I could sleep all day. Instead of learning how to answer for these stupid variables. Okay, I guess it can't be all that bad. 

He walks down the rows of desks and hands out papers. I tried to count them as he walked. One.. two.. three.. four.. five!? There's so many! I sighed. This is gonna be a long class.
