—"Huh?" Gyuvin whispered.
"I might just have to give you an even worse punishment than the one I was already thinking of." The principal shook his head in disappointment.
"What-" Ricky turned the phone around do reveal a photo of yesterday. Only in this photo, Gyuvin was standing. And he looked perfectly fine, unlike the bullies. It was an edited photo, but why would Zhanghao even do this?
Ricky felt his heart drop, becoming speechless. He made so many mistakes. Trusting someone he just met, not checking the proof before showing it and getting both him and Gyuvin in big trouble. He felt disappointed in himself, more than the principal did with them.
"We told you, he's evil! Him and his stupid friend. You guys should have never let him in this school in the first plac-"
"What the hell are you talking about? Gyuvin is the victim here! You assholes clearly edited this! I mean come on, anybody can tell you did a such a shitty job." Ricky defended both of them aggressively.
"Only if you're psychotic and trying to pathetically frame someone!" Gunwook yelled back. Gyuvin only sat back and watched, but not like he wanted to or anything. He has his head hung low and was lost in his thoughts, all the voices echoing in his mind.
Ricky widened his eyes and laughed in disbelief. "Unbelievable! That's what you're doing right now!"
"You two cut it out right now! What about this editing? Gunwook and.. you, is this true?" The principal asked, now facing them. The bullies tried playing it cool and defended themselves quickly, but of course, Ricky saw right through them.
"N-no of course not. This is just a photo taken by our kind friend, Zhanghao." Gunwook answered innocently. "He was just a by-stander afraid to get involved. Anybody would be, giving how hard his slaps were. You've seen it on the school's page already." It now looked like Gunwook was trying not to make any 'haha I won' faces at Ricky.
"You little-" Ricky was cut off by the principal. "Enough. Ricky, Gyuvin, you are both suspended from the school for-"
"But mister! Would you just look at Gyuvin's scars? He was clearly the one being beaten up by them." Ricky argued, lifting up Gyuvin's sleeve slightly to reveal several bandages. "Not to mention the big purple bump on his face?" He added as Gyuvin looked to the side. "Plus, don't you already know that these guys have a reputation for bullying?"
The two boys looked furious before going back to playing innocent. "We might have bullied in the past but-"
"Oh shut up Gunwook. Dont tell me that you've changed. Remember when I stopped you when you were about to punch Gyuvin in the face?" Ricky asked.
"I- was going to say that.. we've gotten punishment for bullying in the past, so you need to get yours too!" Gunwook pathetically defended him and his friend.
"That makes no sense! We didn't do anything in the first place!" Ricky argued.
"I've had enough of you guys!" The principal slammed his hand on the desk. "Ricky and Gyuvin. By the looks of this proof, you're getting suspended for not one now, but two weeks for physically bullying these students."
Ricky spoke up. "I-"
"No arguments. You all may leave now." Ricky sighed, giving up and leaving with Gyuvin behind him.
Soon after, the two bullies came out, laughing obnoxiously. "Thats what you get for being nosy." Gunwook said and walked away with his friend behind him.
Both Ricky and Gyuvin started walking in silence, until they both heard whispers starting.
"Did you hear he... punched... expelled..."
"No way... new kid.... definitely deserved that.."
Gyuvin heard slurred words coming from a few students. Feeling slightly overwhelmed for being the center of attention, Ricky gently grabbed a Gyuvin by his arm and pulled him into a corner where nobody else was.
Ricky rolled his eyes to the people behind him, then turned around to face Gyuvin who was now staring at the floor. "Gyuvin..?" Ricky said in a low voice.
"I didn't hear you talk at all in there, are you okay?" He asked, his voice completely different from how it was a minute ago. He was right, Gyuvin was usually not like this at all.
Gyuvin nodded, still keeping his head down. Ricky sighed, taking his hand of lifting Gyuvin's head up with both his hands. Gyuvin's eyes slightly widened at this, looking away. "Come on.. tell me what's wrong and I'll let go."
Gyuvin suddenly got the thought that Ricky wanted him to defend them, but he just didn't speak up. "I- I'm sorry for not defending us. You were doing all the talking. I guess I've gotten bullied so much that I've told myself to just to stay quiet because it won't change anything in the end. I know it's stupid but..." Gyuvin blurted out, trailing off with his words.
Ricky's face softened for Gyuvin, feeling
sorry for him. "Gyuvin.. it's okay. I don't mind defending you alone, and I would do it again, just for you."just for me?
After a few seconds, Gyuvin looked back at the older. "Thank you, Ricky. I'm.. really grateful to have a friend like you." He smiled softly.
"No worries." He cleared his throat. "You should probably get back to class now." He said, finally letting go of Gyuvins face and turning around. Suddenly, he felt a hand on his arm.
"Where are you going?" Gyuvin asked him with innocent eyes. "Hm?.. oh- um I'm going to go see Zhanghao, of course." He looked away. "Stupid backstabber." He mumbled.
"Oh.. right. The younger let go of Ricky, letting him go talk with Zhanghao and leaving for class.

After what felt like hours of walking, Ricky stopped at his last spot to find him, outside near the school garden.
He ran into the garden and looked everywhere for him. Ricky eventually got tired of walking and sat down on a bench. "Zhanghao you idiot! I'll make you pay-"
"What do you need Hao-hyung for?" A gentle voice asks.
Ricky looked up from where he was sitting, now in front of him was a black haired, handsome man with a concerned expression on his face.
"Uh.. who are you?" Ricky asked, regretting calling his name out loud like that.
"I'm Hao-hyung's.. bestfriend, Sung Hanbin." He said, now smiling at the other boy.
Ricky stood up. "I see. Sorry to tell you this but I think you don't really know what kind of a person Zhanghao is."
Hanbin went from a smile to a concerned expression again. "I'm sorry, what? Who are you to say that?" He asked, his voice slowly getting louder.
Ricky sighed and shook his head. "Never mind.. all I need to know is where he is. You know, right?" He asked.
Hanbin frowned. "He left school early." He answered, not looking like the same kind boy that greeted Ricky anymore.
Of course, he left. Why wouldn't he after doing that?Ricky suddenly ran off, ignoring the fact that Hanbin could have been lying just to protect Zhanghao.
