"It came up crawling from the ruins of the past

And I just can't believe my eyes

It wears the same old face, we thought was dead and gone

Forever buried by the time"

I raked my fingertips through the gravel, trying to catch my breath. Little pebbles embedded their marks into my knees as I rested. If Ivan wanted to take me out once and for all, he had his opportunity right at that moment. It's the first moment I've gotten to just rest since being awoken and all I could think about was letting my eyes fall shut.

The surrounding gravel crunched, and I knew I wasn't alone again, but I also knew it wasn't Ivan Ooze returning. I kept my head hung low, trying to judge the distance between myself and whoever else is here. It sounded too close, but truthfully, I didn't care.

Whoever they may be, the arms on my hair didn't raise, and I didn't feel threatened as they approached me. If I pretended like I didn't know they were there, then maybe I could get the jump on them if they were going to attack me.

As the gravel continued to crunch underneath them, I realized it was not a single person approaching, but a group. It was possible that Ivan had sent someone else to his place to take me out, but it wasn't like him to have someone else carry out his heavy work.

"I wouldn't suggest whatever you're about to do." I said, keeping my head low still.

"You're one to be talking," a voice chimed in to my right, "We saw you with Ivan just now and whatever you two plan on doing, we won't let it happen."

I remained in a crouch on the ground. They may have seen me with Ivan, but that does not mean I was on his side. I was far from it. Slowly, I raised my head until my eyes were level with the concrete wall again. The spidering crack stopped just in the center, and small pieces of the wall began falling to the ground like it was going to collapse at any moment.

"What you saw was Ivan fleeing from someone he fears. Ivan is the only threat you have right now."

I am careful not to make any sudden movement. I don't want to alert this group or give them any reason to attack me. I don't know who they were, but they were the least of my worries right now. I push myself off the ground and shuffle my feet in the gravel, turning until I am facing them.

White. Red. Blue. Pink. Yellow. Black. Six bodies stood before me, covered in colored suits that masked their true identities. Each stood with confidence in them, like they were prepared for whatever was to come their way. Somehow, they didn't feel threatening and I couldn't place my finger on it just yet.

"We know what we saw," the one in white states.

I can easily see how it looked like I was working alongside Ivan. However, that was their perception of the situation, and I had every right to defend my standpoint. I would never stand with Ivan. Never.

For a second, I contemplate telling them the truth. If they knew who I truly was, then they might make up their minds and not hear me out. Right now, telling the truth just might make things worse.

They don't need to know. Not yet.

I quickly recall something Dulcea told me when naming Zordon and Alpha 5.
