I stopped in my tracks seeing the photo. They knew him? I heard everyone whispering behind me and I could sense them looking at me. Katherine and George must've seen because they came over to me and she put a hand on my shoulders, "We were going to tell you as soon as you got settled in we should done it sooner I'm sorry honey," "You knew him?" I asked. "He was my best friend all throughout college, I couldn't have asked for a better one," I heard George say in a quiet voice. I started tearing up , "He was such a good man we were so sorry to hear what happened to him if we knew about you we would've taken you in immediately. It was only because Andrea found some old photos and searched us up that we knew about you, she explained what happened and we immediately said yes," Katherine said in a wobbly voice. "You remind us so much of him," George explained. I turned around and all of the kids where staring at me Kathrine gave me a hug and lead me up the stairs away from everyone into my room.

"If you ever need anybody to talk to about what happened with either of your parents we are here for you, Andreas told me about how much you've moved about but we aren't going to send you back. Your stuck with us unfortunately." We both giggled and she stood up starting to walk out the door, "Katherine, thank you." She smiled and walked out. Then it hit me, a wave of guilt because of the way I'd left things with Andrea earlier on today, it was because of her that I have a better chance of finding a permanent home. I took out my cell phone and rang her, "Hello, Delilah are you ok? I've been worrying all day, I'm so sorry I should've talked to you about it." I giggled she was always an over thinker, "Andrea I'm fine I should be the one apologising I feel really bad about this morning, I really like it here thank you so much... for everything." "Oh sweetie," I could hear her start to cry, "I'm so happy for you, you deserve it De."

After I finished solving things with Andrea I decided to get to bed early I had a big day ahead of me tomorrow. I went into the bathroom to have a shower and as I was coming out I bumped into someone. I looked up seeing Cole, "Oh my god I'm so sorry I should've been more careful," I explained. "It's fine don't worry about it," he laughed, "Oh hey about earlier if you need someone to talk to about that stuff I'm a sort of okay listener," he explained. I giggled, "thanks it just took me by surprise nobody told me they knew each other," "I'm sure he was a great man, they speak very highly about him and that says a lot they don't usually say them things about other people." He grinned, "Goodnight Cole," "Night New York," I could feel his eyes on my as I walked back into my room, as I looked behind me back at him I seen him look away.

Oh shoot, I forgot my clothes in the bathroom, I raced out seeing that someone was in there and I walked back into my room hoping they'd still be there in the morning. I was climbing into bed when there was a knock on my door, "yeah" I answered. I could hear him laughing already, "Hey, New York I think you left something in the bathroom," he opened my door and set my clothes on the floor, "Oh thanks," I said wondering why he was grinning so hard, "night," he said leaving. I got up walking towards the pile of clothes and saw my bright pink underwear at the top of the pile, so that's why he was laughing. I felt my face immediately got bright red and I threw it all in my wash basket trying to forget about it and crawled under the covers. Hopefully tomorrow isn't so bad.
