Elijah texts me that he's around the corner and I make sure to finalize some finishing touches.

I touch up my lipstick and hair before walking to my full length mirror and take a few pictures. I reluctantly send one to Lucas and I get a response a few minutes later.

L: You look so good keep sending pictures, is he nice looking?
W: I will, and he actually is i'll make sure to sneak you a photo.

I head downstairs the second I got a message that Elijah was waiting for me by the gate. I open the gate through my phone and wait for him to come by the door. "Where are you going?" Theo walks in looking me up and down confused, itching his belly like a old drunk.

"A date." I response tucking my straightened hair behind my ear. "This late?" He asks his face scrunched up. "Seven isn't late." I say giggling and messing up his already messy hair.

"It's two hours until bed time." He says. "Don't tell mom okay?" I smile before walking out.

Elijah greets me by the door with flowers. "Are these for me?" I smirk taking the bouquet of roses from him. "Who else would it be for?" He responds with a smile. "You look stunning." He says taking my hand and walking me down the step and opening the car door for me.

"You clean up nice yourself." I say giving him the most basic answer of the book. He shuts the door gently before slowly running to his door.

He starts the car and the engine hums below us. I place the bouquet of flowers on my lap and snap a picture sending it to Sofia.

W: Date is off to a good start he already got me flowers.
L: That's one point for Elijah.
W: Your counting points?
L: I made a list.

I giggle softly and turn off my phone. "So where are we going?" I ask. "You like Italian?"

"I love Italian." I say looking out the window. "I spent a summer in Italy once, Italians sure know how to party." I smile. "I hope you tried their food too." He jokes. "I tried everything." I say with a small smile.

"Well then, you can tell me if this place is just as good as an authentic Italian restaurant." He says walking out the car and jogging to my side and open the door for me. I take his hand and slide out the car, walking beside him to the huge darkly lit building.

He greets the host and they walk us to our table, he pulls out my chair for me and I sit down, placing my bag on the purse chair.

I pull out my phone and send Sofia and update real quick.
W: He's a gentleman does that earn another point in his favor?
L: Depends what did he do?
W: He's been opening doors and sliding my seat
for me.
L: Good.

I read her last text, imagining her 'serious' tone she's putting on.

I grab the menu and scan the items, pretending like this is my first date here. "Do you want a caprese salad as a starter?" He asks looking at the menu. "That's sounds good." I say. He gives me a few minutes to look at the menu. "I think i'll have the vodka pasta." I say and he nods, noting down my order.
