I Love You (Bonding with Splinter)

You spent time with Splinter a lot, of course with him being the parent figure of the family, and one of the many things he did with you was watch tv or let you come out with him when he figured the brothers could use some time from their younger sibling, knowing that it could be a lot watching over you when he was away gathering food or other things for the lair that could not only be necessities, but also entertainment. A lot of times, he dug through peoples trash bins, knowing he had two perfectly good washing machines at home he could use to wash things with.  During one of these night outs, he had you with him while he found the jack pot of trash bins, digging through to find anything of value while you sat in the  front of the grocery cart he used to wheel you around and the extra things. "Daddy? Why do you get stuff from the trash and not in stores like the other people?" You asked as he placed a fairly good book that he could read to you in the cart, and he sighed softly. 

"Because of my appearance. Not many people were raised around us mutants like you are. People are afraid of things they don't understand. Afraid of change." he said, and you frowned. "Well, I'm not afraid, I'll never be afraid of you and my brothers. Watashitachiha kazokudesu (We are family). Watashi wa anata, o aishiteimasu ( I love you), Daddy!" you exclaimed with a giggle, causing him to grin as he squeezed you in a little hug. "Watashi mo anata o aishitemasu." (I love you too) He spoke back to you in Japanese, impressed with how well you were learning, knowing Leonardo has been teaching you in your spare time. You were always a quick learner, and he may not have known how you ended up in the sewers that faithful day, but he was grateful you came into his life. Ever since his family was killed and taken from him, he knew that with this second chance with you and the boys... he had to make things right. 

"Come my daughter, let's get some pizza and make it a ice cream and movie night," he stated with a smile, as he threw the hood over his head, and you giggled nodding. "Is it my turn to choose?" You asked, making him chuckle and poke your nose. "Yes, it's your turn to choose." He stated with a grin. You two went into the pizza shop and ordered 3 large double cheese pizzas with cheese stuffing in the crust. Being excited, you happily skipped alongside him while you went down into the subway and to the sewers, at this point, having the directions memorized as to where to go. 

"Pizza and movie night, pizza and movie night!!" you sang excitedly, causing the brothers to look up from their activities, confused at first, until they saw the pizza. "Heck yeah!! Pizza and movie night, bro!" Mikey exclaimed excitedly as he ran over and grabbed a few slices. Splinter always got a couple of boxes, knowing how much the boys could eat in one sitting.

He chuckled softly as he watched all the kids get their own pizza, and Leonardo helped you grab yours since you couldn't reach the table just yet. "Thanks, Leo." You said skipping over to the living room couch. Splinter smiled, and he grabbed the ice cream, making bowls for everyone, so ice cream was waiting for them on the table while they watched the movie you picked out.

The movie you picked out was ( favorite Disney movie) , and nobody was opposed to it. Not even Raph, who generally was picky on what he watched. But even he was on the edge of his seat with his bowl of ice cream enjoying the movie.

You were growing tired, and you noticed Splinter enjoying the movie all alone while you leaned against Leo, the eldest brother already asleep with a full tummy. Sneaking up from Leo's arm around you, you replaced it with your stuffed turtle and smiled before hopping off the couch and walking over to Splinter in the recliner.

You crawled up into his lap, which startled him at first but he smiled down seeing it was you. "Watashi wa anata, o aishiteimasu, Daddy." You whispered softly causing his heart to melt and he wrapped his arms around your small figure, holding you close to him.

"Watashi mo anata o aishitemasu, (Y/N)."
he whispered back softly, sighing in content as he turned the TV off, seeing as everyone was asleep for the night.
