New Girl in Town...Is My Sister?

    It has been weeks since my injury, and I was fully healed with the exception of a bit of discomfort. With Leo's help, I was able to convince Splinter that I was ready to go up surface again, and I was excited until I remembered how nice it was laying in bed, and not running after bad guys, which we were doing right now, chasing after Snakeweed. "No!! Not the pizza guy!! Take Donnie!!" Mikey shouted as Snakeweed snatched the teenager off his motorbike, and Donnie glared at him. "Snakeweed' s getting away!" He shouted back annoyed, and I shook my head as we chased after Snakeweed, owing to a stop when he ran into an alley. "We've got him trapped." Leo said, and I smirked as I got my sword out. "Good, then let's go weed-whacking." Raph stated getting his weapon out as well, and Donnie piped in. "Tree-trimming!""Gardening!" I looked back at Mikey confused and he only grinned. "Boom!Ha-ha! Oh yeah! Mikey just put sprinkles on that sundae!!" He exclaimed and I sighed shaking my hea as Raph started to head. To the alley. "Let' go!" Raph stated and Leo stopped him. 

  "Hang on Raph, wee not charging a 10 foot regenerating mutant. Especially since (Y/N) just finally healed." Leo added, and I folded my arms. "I can handle myself." I mumbled, and Raph glared at Leo. "Then what are we doing?" Raph asked angrily. "We'll take Snakeweed from above, tie him up in the clotheslines. Come on." He stated, and I was about to follow him until I heard Raph complain yet again, and I sighed annoyed  "That'll take forever, and we have to stop Snakeweed now! I mean he's kidnapping people!" He exclaimed and Mikey added," Not just people, people who bring pizza!" I facepalmed, as Leo glared down at them. "We take him from above! Let's move!" He shouted and I gratefully followed, feeling more annoyed that Raph was delaying our mission anymore than it had to be. Running across the rooftop, we skidded to a halt, as Leo counted down, and we went to attack Snakeweed who we thought was down below, thinking a mutant that big shouldn't be. Able to get away so quickly. "Where'd he-?" Leo asked and even my eyes were widened confused where Snakeweed would have gone. "And the award for the worst leader goes to-" Raph started until Leo interrupted him. "How am I the worst leader?"

   "If we did this my way, Snakeweed would be toast by now."  Raph argued and I glared at Raph, feeling a bit of more anger towards him knowing it was his fault we were late to begin with. "It didn't exactly help that you wanted to argue with Leo, Raph. We would have gotten up here if you hadn't second guessed his leadership." I pointed out and he glared at me, but I just folded my arms over my chest. "Well,, he shouldn't be giving bad orders, and I wouldn't second guess 'em." he stated, and he growled but I growled back, only for Leo to get in between us, clearly annoyed. "No, y-you know what Raph? If you think you can do enter, why don't you lead?" He suggested more so annoyed and hurt and I blinked at what he just said not believing what I was hearing. 

  "First good idea you've had all day." He stated and I folded my arms, waiting to say more, but I stayed out f it knowing at this point not to butt into a Leo and Raph argument.         "Fine Raph, the team's your's. I'm up of here." He stated about to lave until Raph shoved me over to Leo, who stopped me from almost falling off the roof, and I grunted as I was stopped just in time before I fell down onto the ground. "Really Raph?" Leo asked annoyed that he would do something like that. "I don't want Splinter junior on the team. That'll be another Leo pesturing me. And you're in charge of her, Splinter's words remember? No big deal." He said waving us away, and Leo scoffed," Come on (Y/N)..let's go." He stated and I nodded glaring at Raph.     

   "Gladly." I scoffed, before jumping off the roof to another with Leo. We didn't really speak much at first, more focusing more on the strange feeling I've been having all day. Just something stirring inside of me, but couldn't quite place it. Leo kicking a fan off the roof made me jump and come back to reality as I followed him to another spot, glancing behind us as I felt like we were being watched. "Are you okay (Y/N?) Your side isn't hurting is it?" Leo asked and I hesitated before sighing seeing nothing. "No, that's not it. It feels like we're being watched." I stated and he sighed. "I've been feeling that too. Since we left the others." he stated and I nodded," Let's not worry about it. Come on, let's- " he got interrupted by the sound of feet hitting the ground, and we looked at each other while pulling out our weapons, and turning around swiftly, smirking as we faced the Foot Clan. "The Foot Clan... you made our night." Leo stated and I couldn't help but to agree as we tag teamed and took down the few members that were standing on the same roof with us. 

I was in the middle of two Foot Clan guys, and I smirked sword at the ready. "You think we'll give in to you guys that easily?" I asked, jumping up as they charged towards me, kicking against one of their backs, which made them collide into each other and fall off the roof. "Nice." Leo said giving me a high five, which I gratefully accepted. I thought we were done with them until I heard another set of feet, and I looked up seeing another female ninja. "Not bad." she stated jumping down towards us, and Leo pushed me back behind him as she looked between the both of us. "U-Uh thanks?" Leo asked glancing at me, and I shrugged not knowing why he was so nervous all of a sudden. "What was that?" I asked never seeing him like this before. "I-I don't know." he said getting in a stance and shaking his head."You two might actually be a challenge."

I glared at her, and followed suit with Leo, waiting for her to come towards us first, and she did exactly that, but I wasn't expecting to be blinded, and to start coughing, grunting as I was kicked in the side, and I grunted in pain, as Karai smirked, and planted her foot on our chest. "Guess not. See you around. Especially, you, dear sister." 

My eyes widened as I watched her hopped away into the shadows, and I coughed feeling the effects of whatever she threw at us. "Come on, let's head back to the lair, and get that side of yours to stop hurting." he stated, offering a hand which I gladly took. "Thank you Leo.. for everything." I stated and he smiled small, giving me a little nudge, before coughing himself. "You're welcome (Y/N). Let's head on out." he stated, helping me walk a little until I found my barings again, and I was able to walk home on my own. We got back to the lair, and I rubbed my eyes as they were watery, and being annoying. We were no longer coughing, but our eyes were still bothering us a little. Hearing commotion in the lab, we went in to see everyone inside, and Leo rubbed his eyes a little, seeing as our eyes were still red and a bit itchy from the blinding powder. "(Y/N) and Leo's back! Aww, they've been crying!" Mikey exclaimed coming over to us, and giving us a hug, as to which I grunted," Mikey can't breathe." I choked out, and he blinked and let go, rubbing the back of his neck. "Hehe sorry dudette." he said, making me smile small. "It's okay... and we weren't crying." I stated rubbing my eyes from the itchiness. 

"We got hit by blinding powder." Leo stated and Mikey smirked," Suuure, big softie." I rolled my eyes and looked up at Raph as he stormed over to us. "And where have you two been?" he asked making me scoff, and fold my arms, as Leo answered for the both of us. "I don't see how that's any of your business." he retorted making Raph frown. "Fine. Whatever." he stated and Mikey got in between us. "Can't we just all get along dudes and dudette?" he asked and I shook my head, already knowing my answer for right now. He then tried making Raph and Leo hug it out, and I frowned when Raph punched Mikey in the stomach. "Sorry Mikey.." I stated patting his shoulder as Donnie shouted that he thought he knew where Snakeweed's lair was. "Where?" Leo asked and Donnie started to explain until Raph interrupted him. "Actually, that's on a need-to-know asis. And guess what? You and (Y/N) don't need to know." he stated sarcastically and it made my blood boil to the point where I  felt like I wanted to punch him. 

  Seeing red, I didn't really know what happened next when a force just sent Raph flying into the wall.  I stood in the same place, and I hadn't moved and neither did anyone else. Raph only growled as he stood up off the ground. "Out!" he shouted making Leo come over and place his hand on my shoulder. "Come on." he said softly, and I nodded, and walked out with him into the lair. "Want to talk about what just happened? You threw Raph across the room without touching him." Leo said guiding us to the kitchen to make some tea. "I don't know..I just saw red for a moment, and next thing I know Raph is flying into the wall. I didn't mean to if I did that I-" I muttered feeling guilty despite how Raph has been treating us lately, he's my brother. "Hey it's okay..we'll figure it out, and talk to Sensei about it later... right now let's just let them do what they're doing and we'll figure it out." he said and I blinked as he placed his hand on mine, and smiled. "It'll be okay (Y/N)." he stated, making me smile back feeling the strange, almost fluttery feeling again in my stomach and my heart. 

"I know... thank you Leo" I hummed out with a smile, as I sipped on the now finished and freshly poured tea he handed me, and we went to watch some Space Heroes. It really wasn't long before Splinter noticed we were there though, and after Leo mostly talked with Splinter, talking about what happened with Raph, Splinter made us go after them which I was not in the mood for. "Ugh, why do we have to go looking for them? It's not fair." I muttered, and Leo sighed," I agree... but we can't disobey Sensei's orders. I'd rather do as he says then do a round of Randori." he stated and we both laughed. "You and me both." I grinned until we heard feet touching the ground, and a voice.
