My eyes opened and my vision suddenly blurred, but soon became clear when i blinked a couple of times.  I was in a horizontal position on a really comfy bed but sat up slowly when my surroundings weren't familiar. When i looked around the room i grew confused; no one was around, and no noise could be heard. I was in a big room, a desk was pushed up against the wall next to a brown door across from me and trophies for something that looked like Mixed Martial Arts lined a bookcase next to the bed. I was dressed in the same dress i wore for my fathers function but someone had taken my shoes of.

"Look who's up" I heard someone say in a clear voice. I turned my head back to the door to meet the source and my eyes gazed at a tall beautiful girl. Her blond hair cascaded in curls and her green eyes stuck out in an almond shape. Her porcelain almost perfect skin if it wasn't for the birthmark on her neck, was beaming in front of me with an aura of happiness and her lips curled into a smile.

"Um.." I trailed off, i honestly didn't know what to say. I had a killer headache and my eyes just felt so heavy i wanted to go back to sleep.

Her smile turned apolegetic and she turned her head back outside of the room. "Ace get over here!" She called down what i assumed was a hall.

Seconds later i heard footsteps thump on the wood, and i had to cover my ears from the loudness. I flinched away and pressed my back against the wall when my ears began ringing. So this was Ace's house? and i guess i was in his room? i looked down to the bed and realised i was lying on his bed.

"What-" His words soon stopped when he turned to look at me. I seemed to have the luck to always run into him. "Katelyn, you're awake" He nodded then without looking at the blond beauty next to him he spoke to her. "I can take it from here, thank you Lisa"

Lisa looked at me with one last smile and i awkwardly waved back. I ran my hand through my hair as she walked away and i could hear her feet touch the ground a little too clearly. Ace stepped into the room and walked over to his bed. When he sat down on it the edge of it dipped and i heard the slight noise it made even though i shouldn't of.

"My ears" I mumbled as i rubbed them. It was like they suddenly just got sensitive.

"You've changed" Ace said with a sly smirk playing on his lips.

"What?" I asked confused. This guy seemed to scare me everytime we met.

"You know how i told you, you were an angel?" He started and i nodded my head, as if i believed it. "You're a death dealer angel" He spoke softly and slowly as if i was going to run away. Well i would've if i had the energy to even get up. Death dealer angel? Was this guy on drugs? I mean like i thank him for helping me when i felt like i was dying in the bathroom but he didn't have to drill a load of nonsense in my head.

I laughed once. "You say that like i believe in that stuff" I gave him a look that cleary said 'are you okay?'

"Listen, it might sound like i've just had magic mushrooms or something, but i know deep down that you do believe in all this. Your birthmark? that's a pair of angel wings, to represent you being a death dealer, that weird feeling you got when you were at the function? that was because you sensed danger and you knew you had to get rid of all the people you went near. The accident you had in the bathroom? that was you changing into a full-grown angel, you have your powers now" To me it sounded like he took his time to say it but really he said it in a rush, i heard every single word loud and clear. What was happening to me?

The information sunk in and i shook my head, what he was saying wasn't true, it couldn't be true, that stuff didn't exist in this world. "No, you're lying" I whispered looking down. Although what he said was true, my birthmark was a pair of wings and i did feel like killing a few people at the function.
