It was December 31st which meant it was the very last day of the year. You, Emma, Mary Margaret, David, Ruby and the rest of the so called heroes were spending the evening together at granny's, people giving speeches and clinging their glasses every so often to celebrate the year that had passed and the one to come.Granny had made all kinds of foods while Ruby had been the one in the bar shaking drinks for everybody that asked. A few men had been trying to get it for free by suggesting other ways of paying, but ruby just cut them off every time, making you laugh internally.
When you realized what the time was you stood up from the booth you had been placed in almost all night, starting to take on your coat.
"Y/n" you heard Emma's voice say, making you turn around to meet the blondes gaze. "Aren't you staying for midnight?" She asked, and you gave her a crooked smile shrugging on your shoulders.
"I'm quite tired, I think I'm just gonna head home and stay up to watch the fireworks before going to bed" you told her, and she frowned, but quickly hid it with a smile before she squeezed your shoulder.
"Okay. Happy new year" she said and you smiled, returning the words before leaving the heart of Storybrooke, landing on the sidewalk. Where you normally would've turned right to get home you looked through the windows to granny's to see if anyone looked, turning left in a swift motion hoping nobody saw you.
You pulled out your phone, texting Regina you were on your way to which she reacted with a heart emoji.
It was cold on your way to her house, but you somehow managed with your thin coat, eventually reaching her porch.
You knocked on her white door but there was no answer making a frown appear to your face. When you knocked a second time and she still didn't answer, you decided to open, walking in easily. You hung your coat on her wall and you noticed a letter taped to the hanger.
"In the kitchen..." it said.
You walked to the opening of the kitchen immediately, and as the note had said, she indeed stood there, her back facing you as she pulled a bottle of wine out of her wine cabinet.
"Oh hi dear" she said when she noticed you staring at her from across the room.
"Hey" you said, smirking slightly, sliding your finger over the cold marble tabletop as you made your way towards her. Regina immediately wrapped her arms around your waist out of habit when you reached her, leaning in to give you a sweet kiss.
"Had fun at granny's?" She asked with a smile, even though you knew it hurt her deep down that she wasn't welcome there.
You shrugged your shoulders. "I think here is more fun" you answered, wrapping your arms around her waist as well, feeling how your arms suited perfectly in the curves of her hips.
Regina pursed her lips together as she inhaled sharply, reaching for the wine on the counter.
She held it up between you raising her eyebrow, silently questioning if you would like some and you nodded, smiling."So, wanna stay over tonight?" Regina asked as she poured the luxurious wine into two wine glasses, handing one of them to you. Her face was gorgeous you thought, and her question was long forgotten. You couldn't help but think how perfect her lips were when she gave you that sophisticated and put together look, and how her eyes were just like the most addicting drug you had ever been a witness to.
"Y/n?" She asked, tilting her head slightly.
"Yes sorry, I was planning on staying... if you want to share your bed of course" you said, smirking at her.
"I would rather share it with you than have it all to myself. It's such a lonely thought sleeping in that big bed alone don't you think?" She asked as she gave you a quick, but very hot wink that made you weak in the knees.
You looked behind her for a brief moment and noticed the clock on the wall letting you know the time was 11.50 already.
"We should get to the living room, its almost midnight" you told her, and she smiled, admiring how responsible you were while she could've stayed there the whole night just... talking.
"You're right, we probably should" she said, smiling before patting your thigh to let you know she would be right behind you.
When you reached her living room your mouth slightly opened at the sight of how she had decorated the room with new years stuff.
"This isn't like you" you said, turning around to get greeted by a smiling Regina.
"Well what can I say..." she walked closer to snake her arms around your neck.
"Anything for my sweet girl." She then captured your lips with her own, biting on your lower lip making you moan slightly. You could taste the sweet aroma of wine when you entered her mouth with your tongue, humming satisfied into the kiss.
"Now come on, let's open that bottle of champagne and celebrate" she said, nudging your side with her elbow. You couldn't help but giggle before you did as she said, popping the bottle and pouring the bubbly liquid into two glasses.
The sight of you standing there in her living room on New Year's Eve in your tight dress, made something in Regina switch.
Suddenly you felt the outline of her hands on your back, a jolt of excitement running through you as you just kept pouring, acting like nothing."Actually... I'm not that thirsty" you heard her sultry voice express, and the whole situation quickly escalated. The two of you started a heated make out session, you pushing Regina onto the couch before straddling her. Your hands then smoothly found their way to her silky hair while hers were positioned on your rear, squeezing the flesh she could get access to, now that your dress had moved up a little.
The air around you got steamy, and the temperature started to go up, Regina easily undressing you before you did the same with her. Her breasts were tempting, but you couldn't let go of her sweet lips that were oh so addicting.
And just as the two of you sat there on the couch enjoying each other, a bunch of fireworks exploded outside, people's cheers and screams letting you know the clock had turned midnight.
You pulled away slightly, your breathing as fast as Regina's when you whispered "happy new year my love" against her lips.
"Happy new year" she replied back, before smashing her lips against yours again, the two of you entering the new year loving each other to the fullest. This was definitely more fun than granny's you thought for a split second before Regina's hands on your breast took your mind elsewhere.
No matter how much they tried to make Regina look like the villain they would never get to see the real her like you did. She was much more than the monster they portrayed her as. She was your everything.
