Chapter 16

You started walking. The whole way you and Yeong-su were crying. Sang-Wook still had to carry you due to your injured leg. Fuck Ui-myeong for shooting your leg. You got to the stadium. There were a lot of people there. You and Sang-Wook continued walking.

You and Sang-Wook got cuts on your hands to show you're not infected. After that, you continued walking. You got your wound cleaned and you continued moving. "Ji-su!" You shouted noticing something was wrong. You managed to get out of Sang-Wook's grip and limped to Ji-su.

An announcement was heard but you didn't care to listen. "Ji-su are you okay?" You asked in a panicked voice. "Yeah, I'm fine. Y/n if anything happens to me please know I love you. Try your best to survive. I won't always be able to be by your side." Your breath hitched "Ji-su you can't leave me!" You said tears in your eyes " Y/n you have Sang-Wook and Eun-yoo to take care of you. You will be fine without me stay strong alright? I love you so much" She then walked away.

Sang-Wook came to your side and spoke "Are you crazy?! I've been looking everywhere for you. You can't just run off like that with your leg in such a bad condition." You mumbled a quick sorry before getting on Sang-Wook's back. Sang-Wook continued walking.

A siren started blaring. Suddenly an explosion went off. Sang-Wook made sure you wouldn't get hurt. People were running around, screaming, and panicking. More explosions followed the first one.

The stadium started falling apart. You couldn't see Ji-su anywhere. That's when panic hit you badly. You got off Sang-Wook's back and ran towards Ji-su "Unnie!" You shouted. She was just standing there. You saw her picking up Yeong-su. People were running around and panicking. Sang-Wook was looking for you everywhere. Suddenly rumbling was everywhere. Some fell on you. 

You felt a sharp stinging pain in your leg. You looked down to see a rod pierced through your leg. It barely missed the bone. You let out a pained scream getting Eun-yoo's and Sang-Wook's attention. You removed your leg from the rod, blood spilling everywhere. You got up and started looking for Ji-su. You found Eun-yoo. She started freaking out when she saw your leg.

You saw Ji-su helping Yeong-su. "Unnie! Move! Unnie fucking, please! Move! Unnie fucking move quickly!" You started shouting at your sister. "Ji-su get up, please! For fuck's sake move Ji-su!" You and Eun-yoo were crying. You were screaming your lungs out begging Ji-su to move. You were screaming so badly your throat started hurting. You heard Ji-su scream "Y/n live for me please! I love you so much! Don't forget that! Y/n I love you so much and I always will!" She screamed. "Unnie you won't die! I love you so much, please! Unnie!" You kept shouting and screaming your lungs out. Ji-su suddenly started moving trying to get out of the debris.

She wasn't successful.

You let out an ear-piercing emotional scream.

Sang-Wook heard you and Eun-yoo screaming. He was able to find you two. He started absolutely freaking out seeing your leg. He and Eun-yoo tried to calm you down. You lost two people who you really loved. Su-yeong and Ji-su. You knew you could recover from Su-yeong's death but you will never recover from Ji-su's death.

-Time skip-

You were now in the stadium getting medical help. You felt numb. Your eyes were puffy and you felt like you lost a part of yourself. You had a high chance to get your leg amputated but you were lucky your leg is only partly paralysed. However, you would have to use crutches for some time.

Eun-yoo entered the room. "How is your leg?" You looked at her "It's fine. I could have been amputated but it didn't injure the bone so it wasn't needed. Where is Sang-Wook?" She smiled at you and spoke, "He has been waiting for your medical help to be over so he could be with you." She finished. Both of you didn't mention Ji-su for obvious reasons.

The soldiers were allegedly clearing up the debris off the ground to make space for people to move. You were still sad about Ji-su's death but you know she wanted you to stay strong for her. You walked out of the medical room to see Sang-Wook waiting for you.

You walked up to him and hugged him giving him a quick kiss. Eun-yoo approved of your relationship with Sang-Wook at first she thought it was a bit weird since he is twice your age but it's the apocalypse no one gives two fucks about who you date.

The crutches were uncomfortable but you managed. You were glad you got help for your leg. They also cleaned your bullet wound. It will take some time to heal though. You hoped to recover fast.

You heard someone calling for you before turning around and seeing Yeong-su "Noona! I heard people saying that the medical people will cut off your leg." He said nervous. You chuckled "No, the doctors won't have to cut off my leg. I'm fine though. Go find Mrs. Cha okay?" Yeong-su nodded before running off somewhere.

You, Sang-Wook, and Eun-yoo continued talking for a few minutes until you heard a siren blaring. You saw soldiers running and carrying someone to the medical staff. They were screaming something but due to the panic, you couldn't figure out what. The medical staff was rushing around grabbing medical supplies. You heard people asking who the person was. You heard a male voice shout "It's a female! She survived the rumbling!" This got you curious.

The medical staff rushed everyone out including you. Everyone was now curious about what was happening. People were anxious but everyone soon went to do their own thing. You and Eun-yoo went to get something to eat while Sang-Wook went to find Yeong-su. As you arrived at the cafeteria you ate a little bit still dealing with an eating disorder. It has gotten better that's for sure.

You soon went to find Sang-Wook with Eun-yoo. You two were walking around until you saw him. With a girl. She was getting all touchy with him. You felt hurt. You walked closer to hear what they were talking about. "Hey, I'm Chief Ji's daughter. Come on hang out with me." Sang-Wook looked at her "I already told you I have a girlfriend." He scoffed. She just pouted "Please! At least kiss me on the cheek or something. You're handsome you know that?" You had enough of her.

You walked up to them and straight up kissed Sang-Wook on the lips in front of her. "Oh hi! I'm sorry I didn't notice you I was just excited to see my boyfriend I haven't seen him in a bit." You smiled. You definitely noticed her, that's for sure. She gave you a look before speaking "Aren't you a bit too young for him?" She asked. This bitch. "Aren't you a bit of bitch?" You asked.

She scoffed before walking away. "What a bitch. I told her multiple times already I'm taken. Guess she's stupid or something." Sang-Wook commented putting his arm around your shoulder.

You had a check-up on your leg so Sang-Wook went with you to the infirmary. You heard people talking about someone surviving the explosions. Debris fell on them and they had their leg injured. Just like you. A rod pierced through their leg. You waited outside as the mystery survivor was still in there finishing their medical emergency. The person was inside sitting on a chair. It was a woman. Her hair was similar to Ji-su's. You then got called to enter the infirmary. That's when you saw her. The mystery woman who survived.

Yoon fucking Ji-su.
