A white-haired girl ran through the forest trying to get away from her chasers. The wind blows through her hair and she has to squint so that dust won't get in her eyes. "Over there!" She hears someone say from behind her causing her to run faster. "Please, no!" She pleads, running faster. "Get her!" Someone else shouts. "Stop it!" She shouts. The only items she has on her are her scythe which retracted into a spear, her necklace and her bracelet. Some of her chasers were equipped with bows and arrows which they shot at her, tearing her clothes and cutting her skin. "Aim for her legs!" She hears someone shout and she continues dodging the arrows until she gets away from them.

"Get out of here." The mage tells the girl pushing her back. "But what if-" "There is no what if! Just go!" The mage pushes the girl towards a secret passage. "But Mer-" "I said go!" The mage shouts. The girl looks down for a second then she crawls through the passage and makes it outside and then she runs as fast as she can through the forest.

The white-haired girl looks around and sees no one then she spots a clearing in the forest. She sighs and turns to go to the clearing when an arrow comes out of nowhere and hits her in the chest causing her to let out a cry and stumble back. The girl rips the arrow from her chest and makes a run for the clearing unsure why. She gets hit in the leg by an arrow causing her to stumble and fall to the ground. She looks back and sees the people cheering and grows scared so she scrambles to get up and continues running to the clearing, leaving behind a trail of blood. She looks back at her chasers wanting to make sure no one tries to attack her and unfortunately, since she wasn't paying attention she ran off a cliff. Her heart leaps out of her chest when she sees the trees getting closer. She falls through the trees which luckily breaks her fall although the branches hit her multiple times and she hits her head when she falls with a loud thud knocking her unconscious.

A blonde boy was walking through the forest with his pig companion trying to find some animals for food when they heard a thud. "What was that?" The pig asks. "I don't know, we should check it out." The boy replies."What if it's a monster?" The pig asks, scared. The boy just ignores him and walks to the source of the thud so the pig sighs and follows close behind him. When they got to where the thud came from they found the girl lying on the ground with a pool of blood around her head, staining her hair, multiple cuts on her body with blood oozing from them and an arrow still stuck in her foot. "Huh, what's a girl doing here and how'd she get those cuts?" The pig asks. The boy stares at the girl for a second before walking up to her. "Don't know but we should get her to the tavern." The blonde says, picking up the girl bridal style.

Once they were back at the tavern the blonde laid the girl on his bed and left to go get a bowl of water, a rag, and some bandages. He places the bowl on the bedside table and begins cleaning her wounds. The girl winces so the boy decides to be gentler. "Poor girl, I wonder how she got those." The pig wonders, and the blonde stays silent cleaning her wounds. When he finishes cleaning her wounds he bandaged her up and leaves the room with the pig following.

It takes a few days for the girl to wake up and each day the boy and the pig visit her to see if she's awake. Until one day, she groans and opens her eyes being met with an unfamiliar environment. She sits up and the towel which was on her forehead falls onto her lap. She looks around confused, seeing the neat bedroom and her retracted scythe leaning on the bed frame. The girl looks down at herself and sees her wounds cleaned and bandaged. "Where am I?" She asks herself. Just then the door opens and in walks the blonde boy. "Oh hey, you're awake." He notes and the girl stares at him with wide eyes. He steps closer and she scrambles back not trusting him just yet and reaches for her scythe pointing the sharp end at him. "Woah, calm down. I'm not gonna hurt you." He tells her, putting his hands in the air. She doesn't believe him and shifts her gaze to his sword.
