Seraphina was behind the bar cleaning the mugs while Elizabeth looked out the window, worried. "Why isn't he back?" Elizabeth wonders. There's a knock on the door. "Hello, are you open?" A familiar voice asks. Seraphina looks up from the mug in her hands. "I'll get it!" Elizabeth tells her, walking to the door. "Every other place seems to be closed for some reason." The man outside says. Elizabeth opens the door beaming. "Welcome, sir!" She greets and gasps. "Who is that?" Seraphina puts the mug down and walks to the door.

"You're Cain, aren't you? You and Sir Meliodas fought in Vaizel, isn't that right?" Elizabeth asks. "My word. Could I be dreaming right now? Liz!" Cain says. "Huh?" Elizabeth looks confused. "Elizabeth, who is it?" Seraphina asks, walking over to the princess. "And an even bigger surprise! Princess Seraphina! You look the same even after all these years!" Seraphina smiles warmly at the man. "Come in."

"I see. So, Meliodas survived? I'm so glad to hear that." Cain asks, sitting at the bar while Seraphina serves him a drink. "Here you go." Seraphina placed the mug down in front of him. "Sorry about this. Hate to trouble you, Princess." Cain tells her. "Nonsense. You've served me multiple times before so it's only fair that I serve you now." Seraphina dismisses him. Elizabeth stood beside Seraphina, who was nervously rubbing her hands together. "Still, I was surprised when I saw you. Your noble features and soft voice are so like hers. I really thought that Liz had come back to life. But now, you resemble the princess." Cain tells Elizabeth.

"If that girl were still alive, she'd be a woman in her prime by now." "Was Liz your daughter?" Seraphina asks. Cain's eyes widen, but he remembers when Meliodas told him about Seraphina losing her memories. "So, you really don't remember." Cain sighs. "Liz was her nickname. She had the same name as the princess, Elizabeth." He points to the younger girl. "What?" Elizabeth questions. "She was Meliodas' best friend. Liz was a knight from an enemy nation who bungled a night raid on Danafall and nearly killed you, Princess." Cain looks over at Seraphina. The girl gasped and her eyes widened.

The moon hung low in the sky, glowing the castle. Seraphina walked onto the balcony connected to her chambers to enjoy the night air. Little did she know someone was lurking in the shadows. Seraphina knew she wasn't supposed to be out since there was a raid led by the enemy nation, but how could she resist? The night was so beautiful. She leaned on the railing admiring the garden below. Suddenly, a figure emerged from the darkness, holding a blade. Seraphina sees the person, a woman with red hair, out of the corner of her eye and lets out a scream and stumbles backward. Her scream alerts the knights who are outside her door.

Just as the woman is about to strike Seraphina, the door bursts open and a group of Holy Knights, led by Elric, quickly overpower the assailant, forcing her to drop her weapon and restraining her. Elric walks over to the shaken Seraphina looking concerned. "Are you alright, Princess?" He asks her. "Yes, thank you." Seraphina nods her head. "Take her to the dungeon." Elric orders the knights to escort the woman away.

Liz was tied up with multiple Holy Knights surrounding her and Seraphina staring at her confused.

"She was captured and sentenced to death. And the one who came to her rescue was none other than Meliodas, who was the captain of Danafall's Holy Knights and your personal guard then."

Meliodas walked up to Liz holding a hand up. The knight protested not pleased with his actions.

"Naturally, the others shouted their objections."
