Your face reminds me of a million stars,
Etched across the midnight sky
Your words remind me of shooting stars,
Too lovely to catch, too beautiful to try.
Your smile reminds me of endless time,
Swirling up into ancient space.
Your eyes remind me of the Sun itself,
Gleaming like comets, incessant like rain.
Your fingers remind me of the delicate curves,
That have held up this world forever now.
Your shoulders remind me of the great blue sky,
Embedded with clouds, that Atlas held up bowing down.
Your lips remind me of a summer vineyard,
Buzzing with life, after dark, wintry days.
Your dimple reminds me of the world around,
And I cast my eyes away, it's all a reminder anyway.
