chapter 6

"Mm .. hello ," I said through the phone. I was now hesitated, Waiting for anyone to answer.

"Aye !" He answered cheerfully.

"How is it Jason? " I said casually.

"Good, even better after your call. I didn't expect you to call tho ," he said honestly and I could tell that it's the truth from his call.

"I need you to help me ," I said.

"In ?!" He questioned

"Well... it is more close to, protect me ," I said changing my tone in protect me.

"What?! Did you take part in some type of dirty work and need protection? Selling any forbidden drugs or so? " he said in a sarcastic tone and followed it with a long laugh. I remained silent till he stopped laughing.

"Are you done yet?"

"Yes.. ," he said quietly. He cleared his throat to break the awkward silence which was for just a couple of seconds.

"So how can I certainly protect you? " he asked.

"Ummm.. listen ," I started and told him whatever happened with me and Sebastian. He was nodding with a quiet sound of agreement.

He told me to wait for him as he will be coming to take me to the park. He will be around us in the park hiding to see if Sebastian is willing to do anything.

Sebastian is the well-known bad guy in the high school. He is a player.. with girls hearts. Almost all girls in the high school have been tricked by him. The worst of all is that he gets what he wants. Like one of the rare girls, I still haven't be caught by him. Jason seemed to agree to the fact that he may be wanting to get me by force so he decided to come with me. As a matter of safety.

It was 4:45. Jason came with his car and took me to the park. He dropped me and took a hidden parking for a good view. We decided to communicate by texting. I waited for 10 minutes to find a red Ferrari took a side. A guy jumped and started walking to my direction.

I didn't see him clearly at first but I figured out that he was Sebastian.

"Come with me ," he said quickly. I took time to adjust what he said and replied "where? "

"In the car ."

"No way, I'm not moving from here ," I snapped.

He grabbed my arm forcefully. I groaned in pain. I was short and lightweight means.. he could carry me on his shoulders. Which was what he did actually.

I started shouting and hitting his back with both my fists. He was just laughing. When people tried to stop him he would just say 'she is my girlfriend'. It really annoyed me. I took my phone and texted Jason who answered me. His car was ready to follow Sebastian's car.

Sebastian threw me in the side chair. After he started the engine, he drove but remained silent.

Awkward silence was killing me so I gathered my courage, cleared my throat and spoke.

"W-Where are you taking me?" I asked.

He didn't answer. Also his eyes didn't leave the road .. just to ignore me.

"You are horrible you know that."

He glanced.

"God.. I just don't know how did your family accept you to live with them."

He flinched this time. He was hurt by my words and I could see it in his eyes from the car's mirror. Seeing a guy's eyes getting watery is the worst view ever. I felt like killing myself before I have said that. Eventhough he was cruel, he must've had something that left a deep scare in his heart.
