Observing, observing his collection, underneath his new house he built a secret room, with his prized collection, sculptures, paintings, swords, fossils and even a sarcophagus, 'I need a haircut' he thought, that was true, he did need one, since it was a particularly pleasant morning, not the usual scorching hot morning of meteor city, he decided to take a walk around town, the slums, the old neighborhoods, the porticoes, the new neighborhoods, the nicer parts of town, he also felt really good about his two clubs opening that night, he wanted to spend all of his money investing in the city, creating places like those, Clover club was the name he chose for his ambitious and luxurious cafe near fountain square, also his other project was ready to be inaugurated too, he decided to call it Arabesque, a classier more fine tuned experience, for the rich and the elite mostly, burlesque, classical music or often jazz, live performers, prohibition inspired, with a touch of art deco style, he bought three buildings on the road that connected fountain square and Elysium road, and tore them down, just to create this magnificent place, the first floor had a luxurious cocktail bar, with a huge stage for performers,comedians, musicians, and burlesque exhibitions, underground he built a huge casino, upstairs it was for members only and it had finer liqueurs, pool tables, balconies and pole dancers, and at the third floor and fourth there were luxurious suites with also a spa and a a garden in the rooftop, that place was going to be filled with the kind of people that he despised, but he was happy to endure them, and also having them all in a place made them easier to track and interact with, easier to manipulate, ultimately he had two goals with everything he invested on, either make meteor city better, prettier, cooler or expand the influence of the spider, he did build similar places outside of meteor city, in the civilized world and it was mostly just to expand the influence and information gathering abilities of the spider, and also to create cool places to go to when going in certain parts of the world, and his rule was to employ only meteor city residents, he took some employees directly from meteor city and just sent them where he needed them, gave them a roof and a job outside where they could have normal lives, he was a true philanthropist at times just like the spider as a whole, and those places gave him a steady source of income after huge investments, not that he cared about or needed money.

That morning the street of the city were more crowded than usual, fortunately for him he was almost like an obstacle, and everyone around him almost out of pure instinct just avoided bumping against, and he arrived at a place, a cafe that he always loved, in the heart of the old town center, Renaissance it was called, he walked between the stone columns, where there was some sort of truce against the sunshine, and opened the door, sat down at his usual spot and the so familiar old woman came, and before she could even speak he already made up his mind,

"Strudel, with some whipped cream, and a glass of your special all fruits juice." Tenshi said with a smile as she replied "Very well" before nodding and going behind the counter,

"Miss." He said and she stopped before going back to him,

"I've been eating breakfast her forever, and you have the best strudel and best juice in meteor city." He explained and she smiled,

"Why isn't this place always filled with people?" He asked,

"Well you know, it's not that easy, this place doesn't look too fancy, so other than the same old customers and people around here we don't really appeal to many people." She explained,

"This place has existed for decades upon decades, more than two hundreds years of history, it's magnificent." He explained and she nodded almost tearing up,

"Yeah but unfortunately the building is not ours, my family never bought it, my ancestor who opened it only rented the place from the church, and it's getting quite expensive since it's an historical building and the church knows how important and well known it is, so they take advantage of it asking for ridiculous prices." She explained,
