Victors // Clove Kentwell x Fem Oc

The capitol

I slowly open my eyes when I hear knocking on my door "willow we are here come quick" I hear Peeta.
I get out of bed and walk out of my room twards the main compartment when I get there I see Peeta waving out the window while people scream at him I walk over and do the same thing hoping this will get people to like me.

A few minutes later the train starts to slow down and I look at the crowd outside so many people had come to get a glimpse of this years tributes.
The doors of the train open slowly and I'm met with screams people calling my district number and name.
me and Peeta are told to follow the guards and they start to escort us towards a building.
As we arrive to the place we will be staying I see a some of the other tributes were all being taken to get cleaned. A lady with long lashes comes and grabs me pulling me away to a station where she has loads of tools the only thing separating me and the other tributes being a blue sheet.

The lady starts to hose me down and wax my legs when she finishes she decides to cut some of my hair and my eyebrows this takes her about half an hour but when she's done she calls someone else over and they start talking quietly "what?" I ask and she continues "what" I say louder she gives me a dirty looks
then smiles sarcastically saying "we're just saying we might need it hose you down again before you see cinna" I slowly look away not believing her but oh well.

"What you did was incredible" I sit up I'm currently in a room waiting for cinna who I'm guessing is the guy who just walked in "I'm cinna" he reaches out to shake my hand I instantly shake back with no hesitation and smile he seems nice.

"Okay you two these suits are completely safe the fire is not real so need to worry" as cinna is talking to me and Peeta I start to find myself looking around at some of the other tributes outfits my eyes are instantly drawn to district two Clove and Cato .
They are wearing gold gladiator outfits. not paying much attention to Cato I look at clove seeing how small she actually is in person compared to her district partner looking completely unbothered and of what's going on around her "Clove!" She starts to walk over to someone looks like her mentor. "Alright that's everything" I look back at cinna realising I don't know what to do "wait wh-" before I could ask I get cut off
"Everyone on the carriages please" me and Peeta head towards our carrage.
Me and Peeta are waiting for our carriage to go out us being district 12 meaning we go last but After a few minutes our carriage starts moving and instantly me and Peeta set on 'fire' and the crowd starts to scream even louder. I'm not sure what to do with myself until Peeta grabs my hand and lifts it up in the air I start waving to people and the cheering gets even louder. the carriages start to line up for President snows speech when I feel eyes on me but not like Someone from the crowd but someone near me I look around and spot Colve staring daggers at me I try to be friendly and smile at her but she doesn't react or look away she just keeps staring this went on for a few minutes until the carriages start to move again.

"That was amazing we're all anyone's going to be talking about" Effie walks over with Haymitch and Cinna as me and Peeta are getting down from our carriage they all start talking and I look at Peeta but see him look over at Cato who was staring daggers like clove was earlier Haymitch look at where me and Peeta are now looking "we should go" he started to usher us out and toward the elevator but not before the whole of twos team come to the elevator with us.
The doors open and everyone steps in there being a very awkward silence the ride while I just try to avoid eye contact with anyone luckily there stop comes quick and they all get out "that was awkward" Peeta speaks after a while "no shit twelve" we all turn around to see Clove "what why are you looking at me?" "why didn't you get out at your floor?" Haymitch decides to question her "is it your business old man?" she looks at him but Haymitch looks forward clearly not wanting to start and argument with this girl. The elevator stops at our floor and clove reaches for the buttons clicking roof we all step out and head to the dining room to eat food is already set out for us and we all sit down and begin to eat "what's up with district two and staring" i direct my question to Haymitch who just shrugs and puts a fork of food in his mouth "so what weapons are u guys good at using" the man asks not caring if his mouth was full of food. Peeta shrugs and says that he doesn't know he's never really used one "I'm not the best at combat I can use a spear but I'm not the very good with one like I said Im not the best at combat and prefer to be tactical and plan on hiding throughout the game I don't intend on Killing anybody" Haymitch almost chokes "you don't intend on killing anybody? Do you know how stupid you sound what are you going to do when somebody has an axe or a knife or a sword to your kneck?!" I shrug and stand up "where are you going" effie decides to join the conversation
