Death's smile

In shadows deep, where darkness shrouds the night,

A villain's visage, grim and void of light.

Yet 'pon their countenance, a sinister delight,

For in the act of death, they find their sheer respite.

A twisted grin, like moonlight on a blade,

As life's breath falters, in the shadows laid.

With every step, a dance of death they weave,

A macabre ballet where only shadows grieve.

In blood-stained hands, a morbid mirth takes flight,

A paradox of joy amidst the somber night.

For 'tis the wicked soul, perverse and vile,

That finds euphoria in life's final mile.

Oh, cruel jest, where laughter meets demise,

A fiendish waltz beneath the starlit skies.

In villainy's embrace, a grin so wide,

A sanguine smile when innocence has died.
