Thankfully for Misun, her birthday landed on a Saturday which is today. She rather not have her friends exaggerate and be overly hyped at school. Maybe she would like to see that, but also it would tire her out.

On the other hand, her friends would still be filled with excitement over Misun's birthday at the house. They had always been like that for the previous years. Misun didn't complain about it though.

Slowly opening her eyes, Misun was greeted with complete silence and some sunlight shining through her window. The quiet atmosphere wouldn't last for that long. Boreum, Okemia, Dasom, and Hayun busted through her bedroom door.

Misun flinched and furrowed her eyebrows. Once she relaxed, she had seen Boreum holding a cake with a lit candle on top. They were all singing happy birthday to the half asleep girl in bed. Her friends were clapping to every word of the song.

Boreum moved the cake closer to Misun, "Make a wish!"

The birthday girl smiled, closing her eyes, hoping for her wish to come true. Misun blew the candle out, seeing the leftover smoke fly off from it.

Her best friend set the cake down on her desk and resumed back to give Misun a tight hug. "Happy birthday, I love you so much." She told her.

"Thank you, Boreum." She responded, saying those words in a slight whisper to her ear.

The rest of the girls all came up to Misun, giving her a hug and greeting her. For once, this was Misun's first time ever smiling and being this happy on her birthday. Her friends were truly something that she would never let go of.

"We'll see you later. Have a great birthday today!" Okemia said, giving her one last affection.

As soon as Boreum and them left the room, someone else knocked on Misun's door. She didn't even get the chance to get out of bed yet. Without complaining, she saw Heeseung leaning on the door frame. All of a sudden, a bright light flashed onto Misun's face.

"Can I come in?" He asked politely.

"Of course you can. You don't need to ask, Hee." Anyone can tell that she had already been in a good mood by the way Misun said that nickname.

Heeseung first sat down next to Misun on her bed, embracing her as he whispered into her hair. "Happy birthday, my love." Misun's cheeks rose from hearing such a name breathe onto her skin. He moved his head back in front of Misun, smiling as he caressed one of her cheeks.

"Thank you, Heeseung." She replied, pressing a little peck on his right cheek.

Heeseung was so in love. The way he never took his eyes of her and the way he got lost into her brown pools. He loves her so much, wishing that he could give her more than he can.

Heeseung tugged a bit on her hands before standing up. "Come on, you need to get ready." He happily smiled at her.

"Where are we going?" She asked, turning her body a bit to look at her messed up hair in the mirror. Heeseung definitely planned something, judging by the way he became the happiest person on this plant.

"It's a surprise. I'll see you downstairs in an hour?" Without getting to answer him back, Heeseung dashed out Misun's door. She held her mouth open from the words that wanted to let out before he had left.

"Hm? But what should I wear?" Misun gracefully rose up from her bed, fixing her bedsheets and pillows. She stood in front of her closet, arms crossed from glancing over at any outfit to wear. "Oh, I forgot I had this." She said, eyeing a piece of clothing in her closet.

Misun grabbed the hanger with the clothing and removed it from her closet. It was a beautiful light yellow sundress that her aunt had given her a while back. "This would look perfect with a white cardigan over." The dress had small lacy ruffles at the bottom and fit perfectly on her.

She proceeded to change into her outfit. Unknown to her, heeseung would've fainted at the sight of her. The yellow and white colors she wore made her hair and eyes pop out. Misun got a bit shy herself, seeing her in clothing other than black colors or her school uniform.

Heeseung waited patiently downstairs, sitting on the couch. He was wearing black slacks and a white polo. He had everything prepared in the car, along with his gift he had for her that made him worry a lot.

He didn't care how long he needed to wait for her. As long as Heeseung sees her in the end, that's all that matters. He heard some sort of shoes clinking down the stairs that made him avert his attention to the staircase.

My one and only love. The sound that Heeseung heard was misun, going down each step in these small white heels. Heeseung gawked, being mesmerized by how Misun looked so beautiful. He then realized that he should probably help her down the stairs.

Misun was further than halfway down before heeseung went up a few steps. "Here, my lady." He sarcastically bowed at her, holding out one of his hands. She laughed, attaching her free hand onto his.

"You're so beautiful, Misun." Heeseung told her, once at the bottom of the stairs. Heat rose up to her cheeks quick. She turned her head to side a bit, flustered.

"Thank you, you look very handsome too." Misun smiled at him. He engulfed her into a joyous hug, rubbing some of his fingers on her waist. The girl was enjoying it before a sudden burst of voice. "Oh! That reminds me!"

"I brought this digital camera with me. Here, let me take some photos of you." He told her, bringing out the item from the couch.

Heeseung brought her to sit on the couch, Misun following like a cat. His eyes smiled as he laughed a bit watching her so innocently. "Hm?" she tilted her head.

"Nothing." He waved his hand and looked into his camera. "Wait, how should I pose?" Misun asked, considering if she smile with her teeth, no teeth, or just not smile at all.

"Do a pose that you think is comfortable. Doesn't matter to me, you'll still look pretty to me." Misun widened her eyes and quickly tried to calm herself down so her face wouldn't look burning red in the photo.

Misun chose to smile with her teeth. Her black hair laid out prettily on her chest. He counted down for her, holding the camera up. "1, 2, 3!"

Heeseung parted his eyes away from the camera, browsing at the taken photo. He smiled while Misun was looking very concerned. "How does it look? Do I look weird?"

The girl brought herself up and stomped towards him. She in fact did not look weird or odd. Misun's mouth opened a bit as she saw how well the photograph was. "Wow..."

"Looks great, huh?" Heeseung asked. He couldn't wait to keep a copy for himself and stick it in his wallet. Heeseung lowered his head and placed a delicate kiss on her cheek. "My pretty girl."
