Blood.
Many people fear it, the sight of blood makes them dizzy and sick. But Jungkook was never fazed by blood, his mind had always thought through the reasons of bloodshed, no matter how small.
After being handed over the case of Song Hyein, he was confused. As per previous research, it was clear that the girl was innocent and didn't have any enemies, so why was she met by such a cruel fate?
Jungkook was driving his Audi while looking over the case files, his attention was barely on the road. But it was an empty road, so there were no more than 5 vehicles including his own car taking the route.
"The killer has to be a psychopath..." he mumbled to himself.
Out of the blue, a car smashed into his from the side, causing his car to flip over. His head smashed into the front window causing his forehead to start bleeding heavily. The engine of his car started burning; endangering Jungkook. The smoke created more trouble to escape, and due to the route being empty, there was no sign of help. His left hand burnt a little on the side, thus he acted fast and got out of the upside down vehicle. His forehead had blood trickling down upto his neck, his left palm burnt and the right one bleeding heavily. He used his right hand to support himself and escape, but the window's glass penetrated his palm and caused an injury.

"What the fuck?" He was bewildered, the car that stuck him had vanished.
He realised that he had been attacked, it wasn't an accident. His Audi burnt entirely along with the case files, that's when it struck him.
"The case files..." "That's the reason I got attacked."
He also recalled that Prosecutor Kang had also been burnt inside his car when he started searching for the killer. And now that he had the case, the killer wanted to finish him too.
"Definitely a psychopath." Jungkook snickered.
"Damn bastard," he cursed, "how am I supposed to go back now?"
Jeon Jungkook then stood in the middle of a deserted road, next to the remains of his Audi.
"Why won't the signals work when we need them the most?" His voice was filled with annoyance as he kicked a stone next to him.
