*Alice's POV*

" I want you to be a good girl, okay? And make sure to feed Penny Lane all the time because she LOVES to eat," I chuckled handing Penny over to Vegas. Today is the day we leave for tour.

" Yes, I know mommy. I like being around Aunt Breezy," Vegas smiled. Breezy wrapped her arm around Vegas.

" Okay. I'll see you when I get back. Maybe, Breezy can even bring you to one of our shows when we play nearby," I looked at Breezy.

" Yeah. I'll try," she chuckled.

" Okay, I have to go now," I kissed Vegas's forehead & ran back to the big tour bus we were using.

I ran over to the executive bunk which I was sharing with Brendon. He was on the couch on his laptop. " You didn't wanna say goodbye to Vegas?" I asked.

" I didn't wanna say goodbye to Las Vegas, why should I say goodbye to my daughter?" He chuckled. I gave him a 'really?' look. " Okay, I'll be right back," he said as he ran out.

I watched them through the window. Vegas hugged him tightly. She looked like tears were rolling down her face. She caught me looking & waved. She wiped her tears. As Brendon made his way towards the bus, I saw Vegas crying as Breezy carried her inside.

Brendon came back into the executive bunk. "What did you do? When I left her, she wasn't cry & now she is," I said.

" I just said I'd be back soon with you. She was probably holding back tears when you left, then you told me to say goodbye to her & I guess she couldn't hold it in. It's partly your fault, you Dirty Diamond."

" Oh shut up. Come on. Where's the first show at?"

" Mountain View."

" That's near San Francisco! Kind of.. Still. I've been there before!"

" BFD, right?"

" See, I've always wanted to go to that concert, but couldn't. Shut up, let's just go."

**

We parked near the venue. I, sadly, stayed awake through the whole trip. I'm exhausted. I miss Vegas already. Brendon was fast asleep. I felt the bus stop. By the way, Zack has been driving it this whole time. He must be exhausted too.

I got off the bus & finally got some fresh air. It was a little cold, it was early morning. The clouds were clearing out & I could already see the blue sky.

" It's been so long!" I said to myself.

" What's been so long?" I heard a voice ask making me jump a little. I turned to see Erin standing there.

" I just haven't been in the Bay for so long. I've been in LA with the husband & kid. My best friend Jessie lives around here & I want her to come to the show," I replied.

" Is your friend single?"

" No! She has a boyfriend. They've been dating for awhile now. They might get engaged so I keep hearing from her boyfriend."

" What's her boyfriend's name?"

" Ryan."

" Is he in a band?"

" No-"

" I totally outrank him! Who doesn't want a guy in a band?!"

" True true. But she loves him & you don't even know what she looks like! She could be honey boo boo for all you know. Anyways, I'm gonna call her."

I dialed her number.

*Brendon's POV*

I finally woke up from an uncomfortable sleep on the couch in my bunk. I didn't see Alice in the bunk. I looked outside the window & saw her talking on the phone. Erin was by her, sitting & leaning on the side of the bus.

I walked off the bus & went to Alice. " So are you coming to the show?" She asked into her phone. " You are?! GOOD. Also you don't need tickets. I'll just find y-. Oh are you sure? The tickets are a bit too much. Uh huh, okay. Bye Jess!"

She looked at me & gasped. She held her chest for a second. " You scared me, B. What's up?" She asked. I just shook my head & kissed her.

" Jessie's coming to the show?" I asked. She nodded.

" I want her to hear the new music. I told her that I was in a band & she didn't believe me," she frowned.

" She'll have to believe you now."

" Yes she will! I wonder if Ryan is coming."

" Ryan Ross? Why would he come if he's back in LA? He might even visit Vegas for a bit. They sure hit it off all the time," I winked. She punched my arm.

" Shut up, you idiot. He's 27 & she's like 3. Just don't, you nasty."

" Are you nasty?" I sang. She pulled me by the collar.

" More than you think," she whispered in my ear & walked off.
