A few minutes later I hear a knock on the Nurse's door. Someone opens it and I see a familiar face.
"Hey, Maya."
"L-Luke!" I stuttered.
He let out a laugh and closed the door behind him.
I couldn't help but to feel the heat rising up to my cheeks.
"I came to see how you were doing." He said.
"Y-you didn't have to." I said.
"I wanted to. Anyways, you feeling better?" He asked.
I nodded and he smiled. "That's good. Listen," he began, more serious. "if Nate comes near you again, and you feel uncomfortable, let me know. Okay?" He asked.
I nodded. "Okay! Thank you." I said.
"You're welcome."
A few moments of silence go by before I speak again.
"She told you everything?" I asked, looking away.
"Huh? Oh, Naomi? Yeah, she did." He said
I sighed. "I'm going to kill her. Literally." I laughed kind of.
"Heh. Go nuts. I would do the same thing if I were yo-" he was cut off by his phone going off.
"Huh? Lucilia? Sorry, Maya, have to take this!" He said and went out of the room.
Only then did the heat go away
You know that scared feeling you get when your mother yells at you? I got that when I heard him yell:
"What do you mean we're breaking up?!"
