a u t h o r ' s n o t e : sorry that I haven't updated in a while! It's been a crazy summer but I'm glad to be back. So... this chapter is kind of strange. I just published a version of this story but realized that it wasn't exactly what I wanted this story to go. So I just updated it and I hope you enjoy the re-written version. Also, If you have any suggestions of how the story should go or any grammatical corrections, I would love to hear them! -Emily
r e c a p : Allison Tanner has a bad relationship with her parents, so when Aaron, her superstar brother, asks her to go on tour with him, it's a no brainer. She grabs a flight to the tour's starting city. Unfortunately, the flight out is more than unpleasant as her seat-mate is and egotistical jerk who makes her want to throw a shoe at someone. Now, She has just arrived at a hotel with Aaron. She has just met the band Empire that is made out of four boys, Blake, Levi, Asher, and Logan. The only problem? Logan is the rude prick from the plane. And now, you're all caught up.

Logan Harris. The name rings through my head. Why did he have to be the mysterious fourth member of the band?
"You've got to be kidding me," an angry familiar British voice interrupted my train of misery.
"You two know each other?" Aaron asked confusion filling his voice.
"She's the prude from the plane!" "He's the jerk from the plane!" We said simultaneously.
"Who guys, let's just take a step back and calm down," Blake said coming to push us apart. I hadn't realized it, but we had somehow ended up in each other's faces.
"I'm sure there's a perfectly logical reason that you and my sister got off to a rocky start. Allie?"
"Seriously?" I yelled incredulously at my brother. "You're siding with that class A d-bag? You don't even know what happened!" I couldn't believe that he would side against me.
"Well it certainly wasn't my fault." I whirled around to face Logan.
"Of course you don't think it was your fault. You and your big ego! You know, not everything you do is amazing. Not every girl just bends to your will! No, my brother is the only exception. You think you've got everyone under your belt and with just the snap of your fingers they'll follow your every move. Then, when you make a mistake, one of your lackeys will take the blame for you!" I huffed and stormed out of the room.
"Allie, wait!" I faintly heard Aaron call, but I was too enraged to stop. Once I made it back up to my room, I angrily slammed to door shut. I curled up on the big queen bed and sighed, this was going to be a long trip.
Knock knock knock. The sound of someone pounding on the door woke me. Groggily, I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "I'm coming! Hold your horses!" I quickly fumbled with the locks and was met with the apologetic face of my brother. "What do you want?" I asked grumpily.
"I came by to... apologize." He said, sheepishly.
"Well?" I prompted.
"I'm sorry for not taking your side Allie... but he's really not that bad..."
"Nope!" I cut him off.
"What? You don't even know what I was going to say!"
"Yes I do! You were going to say that I should "really just get to know him."
"Well you should!"
"Well forget it." I stated, closing the door.
"Wait!" Aaron said, stopping the door. "I also wanted to let you know that we're going to leave in forty-five minutes." Forty-five minutes? I thought, quickly glancing at my watch.
"Shit! I've got to get ready. I can't believe I slept for so long!" I scrambled towards my room.
"You've got time Allie." Aaron called reassuringly, "Oh and seriously, give him a chance."
As soon as Aaron left, I went into overdrive trying to get ready. I made a mental list of all of the things I needed to do. The first would be to take a shower. The plane and airport smell still lingered on me and my hair was in a pretty desperate need of attention. Speeding through a shower, I raced to dry my hair and figure out what to wear. It had been a long time since the last time I had been to a public event with Aaron. I didn't know what to wear. Jeans I thought, but promptly erased that thought, too casual. Maybe a dress? I asked myself, scanning my options. I scratched that idea too after I realized I didn't have any. I quickly added clothes shopping to my mental list of things to do soon. Finally, I settled on a pair of white jeans and a loose fitting tank top. As I was applying the finishing touches to my make up, someone knocked on my door. I glanced at my watch, "Aaron, I've still got five minutes." The knocking continued, harder this time, impatient. "Geez Aaron, I only need five minutes!" I stalked towards the door, my hair only half up. "Aaron Chase Tanner, there better be a freakin' good reason that you're being so impatient." I grabbed the door and swung it open. "What do you want?"
"Well hello to you too." Logan stood in the place where I expected my brother to stand, casually leaning against the doorframe. He was dressed in a pair of dark wash jeans and I white v-neck t-shirt. His wavy hair looked like he had just run his hands through it. And to top it off, he was holding a beautiful bouquet of flowers.
"Enjoying the view princess?" he asked, humor filling his voice. I hadn't realized I was staring and quickly looked away.
"Shut up."
"Wow, nice place," Logan whistled, brushing past me.
"What do you want?" I demanded, closing the door behind me. I rushed towards the bathroom to finish putting my hair up.
"I've been recruited to escort you downstairs." He replied. I swung around to see that he had followed me; beautiful green eyes only a few feet away met my stare. His gaze was strong and determined, betting me to challenge him, to look away.
"I don't need anyone to she me the way downstairs, I can do that on my own," I said, holding his gaze, challenging him to look away. He chuckled, finally looking away.
"I have no doubt about that. Come on, we've got to go."
"Did you not hear me? I don't need your help."
"Too bad. I'm not taking no for an answer." He grabbed my hand and let me out of the hotel room. We grabbed the first elevator down to the lobby.
"There's my beautiful sister." Aaron said coming to give me a hug.
"Wow you clean up nice," Blake whistled. The boys laughed at my blush.
"Come on," Aaron laughed, "we've got to go." Laughing, we piled into the waiting car.
"Allison," Logan said, stopping me before I could get in the car.
"What?" I stopped.
"I forgot to tell you," I looked at him confusingly, waiting for him to finish, "You look beautiful."
